Going by the T+C's wording am I right in saying the donor account has to have 2 active direct debits for it to work?
I hoped to be able to just use a donor account then after the switch to tsb put on two new £2 direct debits on the tsb account as the full qualifier.0 -

"complete a full switch to your new TSB Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account using the Current Account Switch Service - a full switch means you need to transfer all active credits and debits from your old account and close it. This must include a minimum of two active Direct Debits"1 -
Finally got the rest of everything required through the post today. For anyone doing the Topcashback offer, turning paperless on in the app seems to only select statements. I logged in via the internet and correspondence was not selected so I corrected that. It is a condition of the TCB offer that both items are selected (as you need to login via the internet for the TCB offer, might as well double check this). Also, I noticed that for TCB debit payments refer to purchases (I was going to deposit into a savings account that accepts debit card payments, but depending on interpretation I don't think that works for the TCB part, but should be fine for TSB).Just worth double checking wording of all the relevant offers.0

Has anyone had their cashback from Quidco tracked at £22.50 instead of the £55? 🤷🏼♀️ Very bizarre and don’t know why?0

Make at least two debit payments out of your account each month
so don't the two DDs transferred from the doner account count as the "two debit payments" or is there a requirement for two debit card purchases as well?Debit payments include online and mail order purchases, as well as in-store purchases (including contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay), Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and Faster Payments.

For third-party cashback specifically (Quidco/TCB), there is no requirement for debit card purchases, but if you're going to keep the account for four months to be eligible, it's better to also aim for the whole Switch & Stay offer, so you'll need 2x direct debits and 5x debit card purchases anyway.0

Hmm. I cant decide whether I should take this switch or not. I was about to sign up to Santander for their £200 today, but then couldn't find any mention of it on their website, even though they only launched the bonus a couple weeks ago its already goneI would rather find a bank that offers more than £125 up front. But I don't have that many options (cant do either first direct or lloyds atm or natwest atm)Do you think it is worth holding on for a better deal than £125, or getting this one now?0
