Can anyone confirm that the number of debit card transactions for the £5 is definitely 5 as per the T&C's. My app is still saying 20.
    You're mixing up two offers.

For the £5 monthly bonus you need 20 debit card transactions (recently reduced from 30) per month.

To qualify for the second part (£75) of the switching bonus in the autumn you need to have been using the account and carrying out at least 5 debit card transactions per month.

Does this also apply to existing accounts or only new ones?

The 20 reduced from 30? Yes, I think it applies to all spend and save accounts.

.....Used my Android phone via the Topcashback App, launched the page in Chrome (it specifically says using the TSB app for applying will not track). Went through everything again and it was successful and the transaction tracked at 20.00 (Spend & Save Account). Then submitted a Highest Cashback Guarantee to TCB for the 30.00 Quidco offer which has been approved (like previous posters my overall experience is TCB tend to be more reliable)....
Thanks for reminding me about TCB Highest Cashback Guarantee.  We've now both submitted our claims as well.
How long did it take TCB to come back and confirm the higher amount?
I so wish I'd seen this before I applied for the TSB cashback through Quidco.  I much prefer Topcashback and I don't usually have any tracking issues and if I do, their claims system sorts it out. Of course my Quidco tracking hasn't shown up after 2 days now.  I'll submit a claim but probably get turned down for some made up reason.

Does the switch in have to be completed by 24 March? So would need to be started 15March at latest?

Yep, T&C say switch must be completed by 24/03, and 7 working days prior to this is 15/03.

You'd have far more faith in the system than me if you were to leave it until the deadline.

I'm waiting for a second DD to pay out on my doner account tomorrow and will then submit the switch. Recon 4 weeks prior is pretty safe.
  • Anyone use quidco and not have it tracked yet? Did it yesterday but still not showing as tracked

I've just opened an account and initiated a switch - I know it's been widely reported that the debit card spend to receive £5 a month has reduced to 20, yet the information they send out still said 30. Shambles of a bank.

Yes, I'm in the same boat.  See my post a couple above yours.  We should have gone through Topcashback and claimed on their highest cashback guarantee.

I am in the process of the T S B open new account and switch but in my haste I did not do it through Topcashback or quidco which I am kicking myself about!  Does anyone know if I can just open another spend and save via one of the cashback sites for the account only? I.e. Not using the switch on the second account?

I think the cashback is only available if you have no existing TSB account - you can check in Quidco and TCB's conditions for the offer.
