KissMeNow lots of people will say this to you, but make sure you take it steady! You need to be rested up for when that little one arrives and turns your world upside down in the nicest way possible.
See now I was going to encourage decorating the 'office' .. I think I decorated 4 rooms including the kitchen ceiling when pregnant with Twinkle.. I deplastered a room when having Squeak and decorated 2 rooms.. and fitted 2 carpets.. I may have been excessive.
I hope tomorrow is a nicer day ((hugs))
DD1 may or may not be descending tomorrow.. grandpink has still got a very sore tooth so may be visiting the dentist again.. poor pea has been crying her mouth hurts all day
- new wardrobes now in place, all but one door which they had cut the wrong size so fitter has ordered another. They look smart and they are in exactly the same place as the old units but seems less space......Mr N has put some of his clothes in and said we both need to get rid of some clothes, especially me. - Today I picked up my car, complete with its new brakes and clutch. Credit card nearly melted. A bit disappointed that, despite the new clutch, it still doesn't have such a nice gear change as Mr N's old Fiat Panda. But nice to be independent again after over 2 weeks without it. - Went to uni, 1 student assessed. Hm seemed a bit on the spectrum. - went to drumming lesson - went to Mr L, via B&M and Dun£lm to look at posh coathangers to put in the new wardrobes and to get tiebacks for front door curtains. - More excitement when after yesterday's disappointment of Mr N getting a 'review appointment' letter from rheumatologist offering him 18th April.....a phone call saying the new meds will be delivered next Thursday!!! It's only been 18mnths since they first offered it to him. Down side is that the nurse is coming to show him how to do the injections the following week. Oh well at least he stands some chance of riding his motor bike again, we were beginning to think he'd not be able to......well assuming the meds actually work that is. - just printed off more handouts for the Chaplain training (north) on Saturday. Mr N and I will set off tomorrow as we have 2 nights in a Holiday !nn close to the venue. Have arranged to see 2 lots of friends while we're in the area. Just need to print off the hotel details etc so they are ready to hand. I still have my 'what I need to put in my work bag' list from last week so I don't feel so stressed, just need to find some clothes to pack (that could be fun as all my clothes are in various places round the house).
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
I have made stellar progress in the office/guest room the bed is almost clear. Various things have been homed or binned or relocated.
Got some washing line dried today, too. Ironed what was waiting, some of todays has made it onto the maiden because it doesn’t need ironing.
DW primed. PICC line flushed and appointments made for next week’s flush and the pre chemo blood tests…at 8:30 am *shudder* they said it could be later but I offered to keep to 8:30 and not be arsey about it. HCA said I was never arsey lol - the results have got to be in steel city so early is better, plus I’m at a funeral that day.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY
"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
Old bed taken apart and pushed into hallway, carpet that was under bed hoovered and then hoovered again, dusted skirting, plus found one of the cats ping pong balls, skirting wiped over and wiped over again.
Wall washed down where head board was, allowed to dry.
Correct coloured paint found, needed a good stir as the oil in it has come to the top, wall when dry has been painted, the wall is now drying, and I'll give it a another coat in a bit.
Bloke who was booked for 9am turned up at 9am and took old bed and mattress away both must be at least 20 to 25 years old, so no resale value or anything other than tip.
New bed should arrive via 'Colin' between 12.46 and 16.46 today, if not I can sleep in the spare room.
1 x wm also done
Logs in
Cats fed
Got hand saw and finshed cutting the tree down from the other day when I messed up the big chain saw, logs from that need cutting down, but are in the back garden for now.
Opposite neighbour chatted to as he saw me out side working.
We watched a very low circling plane think it was a hercules, but it is not showing up on the plane radar, which is not unusual when they are out praticing various things, the jets yesterday didn't show up either, but could see them and they made one hell of a racked.
So to do
Painting
Check moeny and shuffle as needed.
OH has arrived at his destination, and says it is raining.

Kaz, you wear me out! Well done on all your achievements this morning x
All I have managed to do so far is - send DH off to his horse piddle appointment - S&S kitchen - 5 minute pick-up in LR - FUPA dry washing - open a new bank account paying much better interest - book my car in for service and MOT in March - book an appointment at the optician's to get new silicone pads on my specs - amazingly, they have fitted me in this afternoon - send 1 email - hang onto phone for about 10 min before getting through to GP surgery, then have a fairly fruitless conversation with one of the office staff.
I really need to go shopping now, and Rosie will need a walk before I get my specs done.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xxx
Iona I wear me out as well! hope all goes well with specs etc. It is also a mission to get on with things while OH is away, I've been plotting / ordering etc for weeks with the date of the next 2 weeks in mind.
Wall now 2nd coated.
I also pulled out a bedside cabinet thing, it was awful behind it, but all clean and sparkly now, I also found my valentine's card and present as when putting unit back one of the draws fell forward, closing the draw, there it was, so I've put it back for now, when OH rings on the day, I will act all suprised!
Right banks shuffle now / budget check, I can sit at the table, and watch the drive way for the lorry and my new bed. they have just phoned they will be here in 10 mins

Trouble is I am either a complete tornado of activity or I am a sloth who does nothing - like, doesn’t get out of bed til gone midday style nothing but I appreciate running around trying to do all the things is probably not sensible! I’ve tried to write down a list of tasks and categorise them as Must Do Before Baby (MDBB), Should Do Before Baby (SDBB) and Can Do After Baby (CDAB). I’ve then split those into me only, me and husband and husband only (like the greenhouse that needs sorting desperately!). Some may say that’s procrastinating rather than organising but I disagree
I’ve got some pretzel dough proofing, one load in the washing machine, one waiting to go on, dishwasher unloaded and reloaded with pretzel bits. Going to get my hospital bag done today and do the sweet cupboard. Plus a couple more episodes of The Great Pottery Throw Down
Other cleaning bits I’d like to do today are freshen up the loos, and tidy the upstairs bathroom (will tackle the shower another day).
Had a bit of a fainting spell at work on Wednesday night. Had to get DD to come pick me up as I was a bit scared to walk home even though I’m just round the corner. Felt a lot better after food and a decent sleep.
This morning DD run me to the dentist. She sat in a coffee shop in the queue for tickets for Beyonce while her pal was at home doing the same to see who got through first. Tickets purchased but £500 for 2 tickets! More money than sense the pair of them. We both got our boosters at the drop in clinic afterwards then picked up the tickets for her fundraiser. Came home sorted sport insurance and put a washing on.
Just visas now to sort and I think that’s all bases covered before we go.
Just having a cuppa then I’ll hang the washing up.
