pots, pack ups, dinner and laundry all done.. I sent DS2 to shop for milk and ritz crackers.. .. Pixie made me a cuppa and took folded laundry upstairs.. I made a useful child!!! Just the one mind!
I LOOKED at the back room.. 'mañana' said the brain... who am I to argue??
So today I have run the DW on a clean cycle (with a bottle of stuff from Lidl). I made HM bread (from a kit, really, with beer and no proving needed) and made HM soup.

Aarrgghhh! Busy day at work, driving home, hit a pothole, tyre burst. Aarrggh! Thank you to the lovely AA man who came out to me in 30 minutes on a very chilly road, nearest inhabitants were deer. And followed me home (ok, to retrieve his spare tyre, at least I knew he was there). Flying = zero. Tomorrow we start again…
12.45 before I got finished last night. Got in made a cuppa and fell asleep on the couch, OH woke me at 6 and told me to get to bed. Was up at 1 fell asleep again till 3.30 when I got up for work. I’ve managed to get washed and dressed and that’s the total of my flying today and it was a huge effort!
I’m dayshift tomorrow and don’t finish till 6 so I doubt I’ll get much done. Ben Washing is getting huge again 😡
Wanders into WAC…snuggles down in comfy chair with hot milk and biscuits…
having trouble sleeping tonight…think it’s because I have a small project to deal with (community notice board) which looks grim right now…I keep thinking of all I want to do - which includes a before and after set of photos.
on the plus side just stuck a load in WM and opened DW to dry off
ive heardled and wordled and quordled…

Well it is ment to be 11 degrees here today, with a light wind, however it is cold and a gusty wind, WM x 1 done out on whirly.
Cat 3 managed to get himself shut in spare room where OH was packing overnight, this cat never has meowed since we rescued him, this morning I fed the others at 7am, and commented to OH it was odd that cat 3 was missing, a little bit later OH could here a faint knocking sound, so gets up and goes for a wander around, opening doors, and out pops cat 3, he has scraped at the capet near the door, and is now sound asleep. This is the shy nervous one, he currntly won't let either of us anywhere him, I hope in a day or so he will come round.
Logs in, ash out
Kitchen is done
All cats fed, inc next door's

Afternoon all. I will be around a lot more as I am now officially on maternity leave and I am already, less than 3 hours in, officially already bored
I'm planning to do one 'big' task a day, a couple of 'small' tasks a day and keep on top of the housework (that I can do - no hoovering/sweeping/scrubbing anything too low down). Big tasks will basically be sorting out things like the remaining kitchen cupboards, the baby stuff we've been given, my craft stuff. Small tasks are things like packing my hospital bag (a priority just in case!), tidying up the cutlery drawer, that kind of thing. Interspersed with plenty of naps, seeing friends and general relaxing!
We're still drying all our clothes inside rather than using the TD which is driving me mildly insane as it makes my living room look really cluttered but better for the environment and the purse. I'm hoping we get some nice sunny spring days soon so I can do big loads of baby clothes and get them on the line.
We really need to figure out where we're going to store all our baby's stuff as well At the moment it's all in bag for life bags in our back bedroom (aka the cesspit). Seriously, about 10 - 12 of them and more to come apparently, plus two baby showers (one work, one family). We haven't moved the office down outside yet still because the roof still isn't quite right and OH hasn't been able to fix it or the walls inside. Despite our future brother in law being a builder with experience in roofing AND dry wall placement he refuses to ask him for any help. Until we are comfortable with moving all of the computer equipment out there there's just nowhere for baby stuff to go. And OH's parents want to bring the cot down that they've got us some point before the baby is here to - literally not got a space to put it, or the pram!
Anyway.
Today already I have a load in the washing machine, dry clothes put away (and actually put away, not dumped on the cesspit bed and ignored), dishwasher unloaded and counter tops in the kitchen partially cleared.
KissMeNow lots of people will say this to you, but make sure you take it steady! You need to be rested up for when that little one arrives and turns your world upside down in the nicest way possible.
Been feeling a bit anxious and generally bleugh this week, feel like the fog has lifted a little today. Working from home tomorrow and hopefully it will be a short day at the paid stuff which will be nice.
Bring on the weekend. There is flying to do but I am not putting pressure on myself.
I think that I have spent more time in the WAC than doing anything useful this week. Looking forward to the end of the working day tomorrow, just hope that I can switch off a bit from work over the weekend. DH has spent ages trying to sort my tyre out today. I can’t get a new one fitted for a week. Trying not to stress about it. Too much anyway. Dinner cooked, kitchen tidied and floor swept - it was disgusting. It still is in desperate need of a mop. I forgot to turn the wm before I left this morning, so I can’t even declare wm x 1. Mount Ironmore is taunting me, but will have to be tackled at the weekend.

I have photo's, laundry, pots and flingage to do today.. it's a bit grey and grim so I may check the towels outside and air them off in the dryer.
