DH offered to vacuum clean 😱. After I had picked myself up, I had to resolve not to point out that he was doing it “wrong” (the correct way is my way, obviously…). I dusted everywhere whilst he was taking time to prepare himself to fulfil his rash offer. I cleaned the bathroom and ensuite, then relieved him of vacuum duties to do upstairs myself. I have left his office for him to tackle. That is way above my pay grade!Wm is done, airing cupboard sorted. I’m having a quick cuppa now, then I might even mop the kitchen floor. Not sure which bit of the utility room floor DH has swept, but it certainly wasn’t the bit I can see - and it is a tiny room!
Not today, though - no offers forthcoming so far....
I have made coffee, if anyone wants to join me xxx8 -
Well waste of a trip really, I need at least 20 NP, the bloke had 14, he told me he had 25, the ones he did have were in poor condition, so I left them, but while wandering around his 'barn', full of junk IMO.He did have some others but they were smaller, so I am thinking about it.My new saw chain has arrived, so I might fit that later on.Off to find toast.Breast Cancer Now 2022 100 miles October 100 / 100milesSun, Sea9

OH dropped the girls at dance and is just collecting them.. he did a mini-shop with me on the phone saying yay and nay.. He emptied the maggot bin and made a cuppa.I washed the pots, S&S'd the kitchen, hung out laundry, brought in mostly dry stuff and it is now airing in the TD, sorted swimming bag, emptied the DW (it is being used as a drainer because I don't have one) I will do the girls lunch in a sec and then drag Henry about becuase Feargal is wonderful but he isn't the best for a decent clean and I need a good vacuum through.. cat litter everywhere.. ok, that can be delayed.. if OH is doing trays he makes a right mess so he can do that first.. THEN I will drag Henry about..
Pics first I think (On old phone for now because I know where that is!)

WM is giving the second load an extra spin before I drape it on the airer.
Fish finger and tartare sauce sarnies (in a bread bun) have been devoured - and thoroughly enjoyed. Nom nom.

Kitchen and bathroom mopped. Soup made from chicken carcass kept for the purpose. Last batch of marmalade now simmering away. Mending done. I need to make a list. In my head I have a shed load of jobs to tick off this weekend. Listing them may help me see the light.8

note to self p.8
went into work 'for an hour' as I had arranged to meet a volunteer. v. succesful discussion - she'll be perfect for the role I have earmarked her for. Anyway didn't get home until 3. But it was a good day - I've scared our clientele and they were out in droves supporting us. Win win.
Before I went I had pegged out 2 loads from wm, they were dry when I got home and are now ironed.

Sounds like a good day Valli xFeeling blessed here, the large fallow female deer came by tonight, not seen her for weeks and she is pregnant, last year she came back a few weeks after giving birth, and wait by the fence until she saw me, with her fawn, then they both wandered off, I hope she does the same again this year. It was a bit like she was showing her baby off.All cats fed, 3 out of the 5 have so far had a cuddle and stroke.Breast Cancer Now 2022 100 miles October 100 / 100milesSun, Sea9

Swimming lesson attended..cleared airersI didn't get the bedding on the line so will do that tomorrowSold a thing I listed today.
OH had an ear chewing.. I was grumbling at Pixie about the lot of them not keeping their things tidy and I do everything. While doing this I emptied the oven trays from the second oven and put dinner in for me, Squeak and the 2 upstairs bears and folded the washing from the dryer.
When the DW broke I said everyone but me could wash pots yet guess who is the only person to have done them for the last week?! I said no one does anything useful..I went in the other room and folded the laundry off the airers.. when I went back in the kitchen OH was WASHING THE CLEAN OVEN TRAYS!!!! While the pizzas in the first oven were burning.. so I lost my cool.. I said adulting isn't this 'flipping' hard and I am absolutely not raising another child. He is perfectly capable of thinking for himself and my brain is full... he sulked for 5 minutes and then asked 'shall I take this washing upstairs?' ... I did say to make his own decision because he has a brain too! ..15 minutes later he is UNFOLDING the washing I just folded and crumpling it all up into a drawer.. I admit I lost my shizzle and threw a wobbler.Weaponised incompetence.. he is a freaking master... If I end up in prison this weekend, yes I did it but it was under great duress!!
I still need to remake the bed, wash the swimmies (load not full) and he hasn't done the cat trays so I haven't vacuumed.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)24/06/2023 £35737.18 (4.81% int.)9 -
Well that’s me done. DW and WM both fully loaded. Weather forecast is for dry and sunny tomorrow so I am hoping to get more washing line dried.
in bed without Walter Hottle Bottle (if you know you know) for the first time in weeks. It’s not cold, I don’t ache and I couldn’t find it anyway, though I did boil the kettle. I have found it now … was still in bed but I could have sworn I’d taken it downstairs.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all
Lovely crisp cold morning here, and the birds are singing. Starting to feel that Spring might be on its way.
Good night's sleep, feeling quite happy this morning. No idea what the day will bring, need to sort some laundry and deal with the pile of clothes on my bedroom chair, but otherwise not sure what the plan is. Think DH will want to do some gardening but might see if I can persuade him out for a walk or bike ride.
Have a good Sunday all, will catch up with you later x8
