Crisp and cold here too. I am hoping to get outside in the garden to fill the green bin at some point today, as we have missed our collections recently and I resent paying and not taking full advantage. It needs to warm up just a tad(pole 🤣, sorry 🙃) first though.
Other jobs on the to do list are: sort out the fridge and meal plan for the week, package up a parcel for DD, make 3 birthday cards, maybe even book a ferry for a summer getaway. Do-able, but relies on me not procrastinating and faffing. 2nd cuppa now, so procrastination looks likely.
Have a lovely day all x8 -
Morning all xx
Aw Valli, Walter Hottle Bottle was obviously stored in my memory banks and ready to pop out and wave when you mentioned him ❤
I watched Roy Orbison last night too - he is a favourite of mine. So is Gene Pitney but I didn't see him yesterday 😕.
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, sploshed bleach down the loo, opened windows upstairs to let some fresh air in, eaten toast supped 2 brews, finished another book, and listened to some music. Oh and I did a laundry shuffle.
Next:
Feed the birds
Fill the bird bath
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Then a coffee.
Fayolle - I'm watching to see if you are faffing. 😉

Sorting out the fridge turned into cleaning out the fridge. All done now, so if that could possibly be somewhere on the lists for next week, I would be very grateful, so at least I could say that I have done something. Just saying…😋
I have spent a lovely hour in the sunshine outside and in the greenhouse. The green bin isn’t full but it is full enough. Chilli seeds have been sown and brought indoors. I might just sneak out again later, before it gets too cold.
Ooh, Jazee, Viennese whirls! Now you have got me wanting those. I wouldn’t eat them when I was younger, as my mum always bought them. As there was only her living at home - and she had infinitely more willpower than me - I was sick of always being offered them. Now though….8 -
Biscuits made and cooling ready for filling at half time. We have tested one each and they are delicious.Spend less now, work less later.7

Hi flyers x
Work was busy last night. Was home pretty sharp but never slept till after 3am so only fell out of bed at 1. After much sitting around WM has been filled and the washing basket sorted into loads. Winterdykes have been emptied ready for refilling. Need to get the bathroom cleaned too.DD on placement all next week so she’s staying in Edinburgh she’ll be fine I don’t know how I’ll cope. Most probably by having a melt down. Will need to check she’s got everything packed when she gets in from work.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged8 -
Those Viennese Whilrs look fabulous...
Frog being munched with the help of DD. They have an upstairs, accessible by a slope, which they have chewed so we are replacing it in bodgy style. Hutch cleaned and swept under and surroundings swept, as it is so dry.
Washing drying on line, tooDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear8
