I looked back through my online bank statement for February and we have eaten out/got takeaways ten times, which is disgraceful! We did have the decorator here so that is why we have eaten out more while he was here painting inside the house. I have only used my trampoline twice in Febrary too. I did get my steps in at least and have done over 11,000 steps a day on average according to my Fitbit.
Wellness Wednesday - I am going to use my mini trampoline for at least 15 minutes today. I am also going to batch cook a veggie pasta for the next two days of lunches. I am going out for my birthday this weekend so I will be eating out once, but that is a special occasion.
I have noticed my skin has been more blotchy and red and I thought it was to do with this retinol serum I was using. I thought yesterday that it might be from starting drinking coffee again instead so I am cutting it out to see if that is the culprit. More water and herbal tea instead.
I'm going to see the new Creed 3 film this weekend so I watched the first film last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are going to watch the second film at home tonight.

Thank you all for your sympathy. Sorry to hear similar things have happened to others as well.
I am going to draw a line under it and move on. Called the shop again and it definitely hasn't been handed in. So wellness Wednesday, I have spent about an hour coloring a unicorn canvas for dds room (unicorn prints were too expensive for my taste!) And it was lovely and relaxing to do. I don't think Picasso, Van Gogh or Monet have to be too worried though 🤣. This evening I am going to have a little declutter (done some organising in kitchen drawers already and am fairly pleased) which I always enjoy and then I think I am taking the night off. Might even sit down and do another canvas for dcs room. Planning on either jacket potato or something else comforting for tea tonight. Hope you all have a lovely day.2024 decluttering Campaign

@Dfw38 sorry to hear ,your bag wasn’t handed in.
I did start the painting yesterday I got both sides of the door painted and the frame of that 1 plus the other frame, but ran out of paint. I’m almost glad as I possibly would have carried on and I had done enough and felt it later. I had a hot shower and put my pjs on and had pizza for tea🤩
today I have been to the cancer trial to give blood, then onto the nail salon and I am loving how they look. I’ve done a bit of decluttering when I got home,so feel my days off have been productive.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.6 -
Wort. Well done on the painting, sounds like you had a very productive day. I bet it feels very satisfying.Thrifty Thursday.Smart meters now installed, really helping me monitor my energy usage and helping me make tweaks. Seeing the numbers really does help focus the mind. I have to say this house is much warmer and more comfortable than my last one. Nice and cosy and my bills are going to be much lower. Energy efficiency is something I shall bear in mind for my next purchase.Frugal February went well, will try and continue into March. Freezer and cupboards are well stocked so hopefully can keep the food bill down. Although I'm noticing food prices are still rising. Over £4 for a bottle of olive oil yesterday. I used to pay about £2.50.Scan results yesterday. The chiro adjustments have been very successful, my body is now in much better alignment and my posture is much improved. So whilst it was tough going I'm pleased I managed to stick it out. Just need a few more treatments for my neck but they won't be so intensive. Will save money too. As well as time and energy for more enjoyable pursuits.Fancy a mooch round a couple of chazzers today......want to replenish my spring/summer wardrobe......on a budget of course. 😉Have a great day y'all. ❤️7

Sorry I've missed a couple of days - busy busy!
Glad the chiro has helped @helensbiggestfan and enjoy your CS mooch!
Sorry about the bag @Dfw38 - so unfair but a sign of the times we are living in, unfortunately.
I need to pop to Ts after work for a tin of potatoes as I'm making tin can curry tonight. Also need some fruit and yoghurt but hope not to be drawn into anything else. I will see if there are any YS goodies but slim pickings usually. Will keep Thrifty Thursday in my thoughts!
For Wellness Wednesday I managed just under 10k steps - I was in the London office which always helps as I walk to the station, but I also attended an event at HoP so walked there and back. It all helps.
Take care everyone

Sorry I have been MIA - work has been busy and stressful and I haven't been well. So glad to hear that the chiro worked @helensbiggestfan - that must be a relief!

Getting my hair cut at last today, still not decided how short 🤔Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.5 -
I had to take my cat to the vet today as she has lost weight recently. The vet took a blood test so I will wait to hear what he says about it.
We then took my dog down to Chalkwell Beach. We did get some chip shop chips on the way home which were delicious and cheap. I did see a hair salon that I have never noticed and it is £20 cheaper than the other one I've been to around here so I might go there next time.
