Humdinger......I have been watching some costume design/fashion videos on YouTube. The historical costumes are works of art. So much work went into them.I was reading that the V&A are going to be doing another David Bowie exhibition. Scheduled for 2025. I missed the previous one but am hoping to see this one. He was such an innovator - a visionary and renaissance man who was often light years ahead of his time. Always changing and evolving.10

Oooh! Would love to check out the David Bowie exhibition, will keep my eyes open for more information.
Mindset Monday: 'just keep going and get it all done today' was my mantra! Did the trick and got everything done that I was hoping to do. Got to collect my order tomorrow of 2x wide leg trousers (with go faster stripes) and have a busy evening planned with running dds to their clubs but have done myself a favour and ordered a huge food delivery for tomorrow night as I cannot be dragging food back from supermarket on a 6 mile round trip every day as car isn't fixed until end of this week.
Hope chiro went well helensbiggestfan. Hope you all have a lovely evening.2024 decluttering Campaign

Hello everyone.
I did some decluttering and organising of my wardrobe yesterday as it was a disaster again. I used some tips from YouTube and from Sort your Life Out. It looks lovely now. I am determined to keep it like that.
I then read a book called Breathless (Amy McCulloch) and it was excellent. I read the whole book in a few hours. It is from last year and when I looked on Amazon at the reviews afterward it was the Sunday Times book of the month. I would highly recommend reading it. I gave it my husband to read on his commute. I only picked it up in a local charity shop for 10p which made it even better.:)
I need to do my husband's wardrobe today as his is far worse than mine. I have a habit of buying him warm clothes for work and his wardrobe is jam-packed after this cold snap we have had.

Transformation Tuesday.Todays transformation work is to go through my wardrobe again and have a sweep through a few drawers and cupboards.Chiro went well. Slept for a full 2 hours afterwards. Had my scans, it's the last treatment and scan results tomorrow. Will take it from there. Last weeks experiment of only one treatment per week was much better so whatever happens I will not be going back to two treatments per week (well not after this week). It's just too much for me.Last day of February, two months now into my Transformation Year 2. A bit disappointed that progress is slower than I would like, especially with health and well being, Just need to remember the compound effect and the power of tiny daily habits.Dfw.....I like wide legged trousers, especially for evening. They can look really glam. For day time I like straight leg or boot cut. I never did like skinnies, I only ever wore them with long tunic tops and they don't really flatter me either. 🤣😁. they make look "dumpy" whereas high waisted, wider legged trousers worn with a slight heel make me look taller and slimmer.I've been watching some fashion videos on you tube getting ideas and tips. I am learning to be more objective about what actually suits me. I will never be truly minimalist and restrict myself to a tiny capsule wardrobe but I am determined to upgrade my style. I shall keep the best and ditch the dross, replacing with fewer but better quality items. No more "bargains" or "it will do for now". If I don't love it and it doesn't make me feel like a queen then I won't buy it. 😉
Have a great day y'all. ❤️13 -
@sheilavw hope your brother is on the mend.x
I was off this weekend I did an hours walk Saturday, then met with sisters in the evening for a chat and drink in the house.
Sunday did a six mile walk which was quite hilly, then after a quick sandwich did a lidl shop. My dd1 came down and we went out for tea Mexican , which was lovely and I made the effort to get dressed up and I was glad I did .
Monday was workday. The less said the better.
Today is sunny so far so I have stripped the beds and they will be on the line shortly. I think I am starting with the priming for the painting that needs doing. I had put it off hoping to do it when the weather is warmer as I don’t fancy leaving doors and windows open whilst it’s so cold. We shall see!Happy Tuesday everyone.xxFocus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.9 -
Well transformation Tuesday didn't go the way i planned. I popped out to get my click and collect order and also picked up 3 things for me; chinos, chino shorts and a pair of joggers. Paid at the self service, pocketed the receipt and accidentally left the bag in the shop. Walked the 5 miles home, realised what I had done and called the shop. Nobody has handed the bag in, somebody must have taken it. Nothing the shop can do. Feeling really disheartened now, I had been saving up for ages 😒2024 decluttering Campaign

It must have been soap day at TKMaxx today. There were second reductions on lots of French and Italian fine soaps.
I stocked up on liquid Savon de Marseille at £2.50 for 500ml, and beautiful triple milled soaps at £1-£2 for 300g bars, and boxes of 3x150g soaps reduced to £2.50.7 -
Oh dfw38 so sorry about your shopping, some people can be so rotten, I hope karma finds them xx
Transformation Tuesday, was not really transforming for me, spent most of my day training a new recruit, which was interesting for me but did make the day drag a little as I prefer to do then watch'You have brains in your head. Thanks Wort, he seems ok now. Check up with GP 10/3. Thats awful DFW38. I remember buying a gift voucher in River Island and they popped it in a little bag, I went in New Look and I must have dropped it. Someone picked it up .More recently I was away with my youngest Daughter one weekend. She spent just under £100 in Zara. We then went in Primark and briefly split up to look around. She put the bag on the floor to try some shoes on and someone stole it6

Dfw. What a shame about your shopping. So mean of them not to hand them in. Anyone with half an ounce of decency would have done so.Nelliegrace. Sounds like a great soap haul from TK Max.Wellness Wednesday.Last chiro and scan result today. Other than that not much news on the health and well being front, very slow progress. Have managed a walk most days but that's about it. Still very tired and pain levels still pretty high. Not lost any weight this week.Must try harder. 😂.9
