Happy Fab Friday everyone!
The sun is shining here! I have taken to doing a little pilates each morning which is definitely helping the meno aches and pains I seem to be getting lately!
We have a nice hm chicken biryani meal planned for later. I also have a WhatsApp catch up with 2 friends planned.
Hope the chiro appointment goes well @helensbiggestfan - sounds like you are benefitting from it.

Coxy11 said:We try to go once or twice a week, but even once a week it's worth it as tickets are now c.£10 each. It also makes you go to see a wide spectrum of films and not just the blockbusters. Last week we saw The Fabelmans and Plane, and the week before the Whitney biopic and Till. All very different films. We reactivated our membership after it paused during lockdown and since Oct 2021 I've seen 48 films. It helps that it's only a 10 minute walk away. Oh and we NEVER buy refreshments!6

Hi Wednesday, some of my family have the cin@world passes and we get our moneys worth. We also take our own drinks which is not a problem (I know same cinemas can be funny about it) sometimes they show theatre/ballet or music events which cost a top up charge but way are cheaper than the West end 🙂

Happy fab-Friday!
Today started not so fab, 2nd dd was poorly and off school but she entertained her brother so well that I have managed to finish the woodwork painting in the 1st bedroom bedroom to be decorated... just living room and their current bedroom is trashed but will deal with that when the dc are in bed. Managed to get a tiny bit done on my garden project in late afternoon so am happy with that!2024 decluttering Campaign

It definitely makes sense to get the discounts on cinema tickets!:)
I bought myself an early birthday present (for next month) as I saw this cup and thought of my dog.

Procrastination!!!When do we want it?
Next week!!!! 😂🤣
That's just how I feel, tons to do and no inclination to do any of it. Lol.My go to all purpose odd job man and car mechanic checked the car this morning. Couldn't find a fault. Thinks it might have just been she struggled to get going with the cold mornings. I know exactly how the old girl feels. Ha ha. So it's a case of see how we go. I think it's probably time I traded her in though. Ok maybe not the Mercedes but perhaps something a little racier. Maybe one last chance for a convertible.......He checked out the carpets that were saturated in the flood. I thought they ponged a bit but then thought it might be my imagination. He agreed with me, they do smell. He says they need replacing.....more faffing around. Lol. In the meantime I can't really use the room.
Hey ho such is life. Still awaiting the energy suppliers to get their act together. Grrrrr!!!!So much for my sabbatical. By the time I get everything sorted out it will be time to start house hunting and start all over again. No rest for the wicked.Anyway enough whingeing. It's dull but dry and mild, so time for a walk and then take the car for a spin. Need to stock up on f&v.Have a great weekend y'all. Make it as wonderful as can be.11 -

My champagne moment today is a delivery of my favourite fancy coffee pods from my Tesco shop, although I think they may actually be more champagne prices instead of lemonade nowadays 😆

Finally got around to starting up the sewing machine on this Wonderful Weekend. I made a cross body bag which is quite deep and I am hoping will stop any pickpockets when I am in Barcelona. Having had my purse stolen from a handbag whilst getting onto a train in Nice I am trying to prevent it this holiday. Enjoyed trying to remember how to use the machine after my beginners sewing classes last year and I have a nice sense of achievement.9
