Happy Magical Monday everyone. I had a magical Sunday yesterday at work, when a colleague surprised me with a massive, gloriously decorated chocolate cake, thinking it was my last work day. I don't finish until 21st. Never mind, we demolished two thirds of the cake anyway, and I left the remainder for the night shift gannets.

Today's magic is my choir session this morning, and gentle pottering around this afternoon.

Good Morning lovely ladies 

Magic Monday. 

Well here we are a brand new week, full of promise and possibilities.  The sun is shining and it's going to be a lovely day.  A perfect day for walking to my chiro appt.  7th treatment today, still a lot of pain but I'm noticing there does seem to be more movement in my shoulder.  Getting there, hopefully.  

Was lovely to wake up to a clean, tidy and quiet house.  😁. I feel relaxed, happy and content and very much looking forward to the week to come.  

Hope you all have a fabulous day, finding ways to make it magical.

So.....how was Magic Monday.  What went well, what didn't go quite to plan.  

It was a glorious day here and I managed a walk.  Lots of pain and I did find it hard going, I managed about 20 minutes, that is fine for starters.  It was warm, the sun was shining and birds were singing.  Made it more enjoyable.  A gorgeous day.  

Chiro went well.  Felt really lightheaded afterwards and crashed out for an hour  or so when I got home. I now have a bit of a tummy upset but that is quite common for me after a treatment, so I'm not concerned. A simple dinner and restful evening.  

Picked up a beautiful navy wool blazer. Vintage, manufacturer unknown, but label says "made in England". 55% cashmere/45% wool mix, proper brass buttons, none of those cheap fake plastic ones.  £2.50. (You couldn't buy the buttons for that price).  Also a lovely cream satin negligee, again vintage, lavishly trimmed with quality Nottingham lace, not that cheap nasty scratchy stuff you often get on lingerie nowadays.  £2.  I don't think it's even been worn.  Perfect for swanning round hotel rooms or my cabin on my next cruise.  

Are you ready for tomorrows challenge - Transformation Tuesday. It's really easy, all you have to do is one thing, just take one small step closer to your long term goal.  

Tomorrow I am off to the dentist, my first step into transforming myself from toothless old hag into Hollywood goddess (with the requisite Hollywood smile........)  😁
