Can I switch to lloyd silver if I have a lloyds basic for the £200

    I went to their branch today and a staff member said by 10 working days.

    It shouldn't be a problem since I upgraded from basic to club silver and existing Lloyds customers can.

    Also Lloyds are open on Saturdays until 1.

    Upgraded my existing lloyds to silver and switched on 10th, already had cashback paid into account on 16th.

    It's been 10 working days, they said switch happened on the 14th where I had to wait 3 days.

    I'll phone them

    I upgraded on the 7th and 24 hours later I performed the switch.

    So from Halifax current account to club silver.

    I phoned which they stated their is a note saying I did not switch into an eligible account and the only way to switch is upgrading then switching which I did.

    They sent an email.

    It's frustrating since I've initiated everything in the right order.

    I know I picked club Lloyds silver, and on the web portal/app landing page my account is club Lloyds silver.

    However my card says club Lloyds.

    I know I wanted to incentive, I know which account I picked.

    I got a letter stating I did not pick a qualifying account so I do not receive.

    If you are certain you chose Club Lloyds Silver, you can raise a complaint and they should resolve the matter.

    Do you have other correspondence or documentation that confirms which product you hold? Insurance benefits?

    You wrote this on the 5th of February, are you sure you didn't request the switch at that point, into your then Lloyds Basic account?

  • I did the Lloyds switch incentive back in November 2022 for the normal account (£150 I think it was). Is it worth me trying this one? Has anyone tried and been paid for both offers?

    I did try and switch before, however it did not let me as I made a mistake. I did not receive a letter for this, online it stated something wrong with the system.

    However I did upgrade the used the Cass to switch which I subsequently received a letter stating the Cass.

    The staff member on the phone stated they got a request on the 5th.

    When I used the Cass after I upgraded, it stated it was successful and should be switched by the 17th, on the 5th it never stated those words.

    It states the switch completed on the 14th.
