I'm with Scottish Power and received my £200 into my bank on the 19th Feb, after receiving an email from Scottish Power on the 15th to say it was on it's way.

I think that I must be doing something wrong! If I download that spreadsheet, it only shows postcodes beginning with AB…am I missing something obvious?

There are 6706 AB postcodes, that's a lot of scrolling!  Do a search of the spreadsheet for your own postcode (Find and replace, in Google Sheets, you just don't do the 'replace' part of that).

I am with Shell energy and have received nothing They said  they will look into it but have no faith at all. I have checked the postcode file for off gas postcodes and mine is not on it. Assume I have to apply via government portal but doesn’t seem to be open yet. Anyone know when the portal opens?

The latest update on the relevant Govt. website says the application portal should be open in early March.

I'm also with SP and just spoke to them, they said I have to apply thru the government website as they don't know who is entitled to the payment. They say the portal should be up and running by end of next week...I won't hold my breath

I'm with Octopus who, after I emailed them, said that I needed to apply via the Govt link.
I've just taken a look and they need receipts of the fuel - in my case coal and wood. Unfortunately I only have the last coal one and it's not over £200, and nor does it have our address on. The wood we paid cash for, and we never asked for a receipt. (We collected it ourselves as it worked out cheaper.) The coal I sometimes collect from the coal merchant or buy top-up bags from say Aldi. I don't know what I can do. I can't remember when the coal was bought to even ask the coal merchant and the invoices are hand written chits so don't even have our names on. This extra £200 would be an absolute blessing. We don't have any central heating or radiators, just 1 coal fire in the front room with additional portable electric heaters as a top-up. Our last electric bill was over £420 for the month! (We have an elderly dog who isn't in great health so we have to keep the front room warm, even if the other rooms are freezing cold.)
Any ideas guys?
