Ok, talk it through together. So you all (the executors and their partners and any kids) are singing from the same hymn sheet. If you all accept that if he kicks off, no-one responds, then you'll cope much better.
The issue is often that partners or other family try to protect the person getting abuse and that escalates the situation.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1
