    I really don't think it's cloned.

All images are photoshopped to make them show what the parking firm wants it to show, once they decided to enhance the images to show your plate.

I think ParkingMad might have it right, and the H just has a rivet above the centre bar.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Does look pretty clear to me it's a W

If it is a genuine clone, then tell the parking company, and tell them they must stop pursuing you over this immediately
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

........... companies (note the BPA limited and IAS or not regulators)  form from their sites with immediate effect as the presence of unregulated parking companies is putting them, and employees at risk .......
Two typos spotted above and you don't need spaces before brackets.

Grizebeck's appeal will kill it anyway.

We'll have to agree to disagree.  Us regulars have been doing this for over a decade and almost never see a real clone.

We see ANPR misreads a hundred times more commonly.

I still think that might be an H with an enhanced black blob as the PPC has quite possibly guessed & 'improved' the final smudged digit.  In that enhanced image too.

When I zoom in on my phone, the middle of that final digit looks to be in a slightly different thickness and bluer black...

In the photo of the rear number plate, could the last digit possibly be an H?
    CV54 LNH is a blue BMW 120.
BMW have never made a 1 series Estate.
  • Thanks @Castle, not an H then! It looks like a W to me in the much clearer colour photos.

Yes to me too, hence reporting it as cloned plates.
