  • I've just put through my last outstanding account and all went ok.
Exactly a month since the first transaction.

Should be on around 4500 points now so almost there.

Do one bank account at a time. I.e. add one account, wait for it to be accepted or rejected.

That way you can keep track.
Keep track of what? It told me exactly what accounts it had accepted.

I did it on my phone, it hooked into the banks apps so i just clicked some buttons.

My 43 accounts expired Today, so just added 10 back that I knew were active due to DD, rewards, regular saving transactions etc.
Unfortunately, adding via my Android phone using the YouGov finanace website (there's no app?) didn't seem to go via the biometrics, so some of the accounts were fiddly to add (username, password, memorable info and OTP !!!!!!), but got there in the end B)

Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

does anyone else always have issues with reconsenting?

it always seems to work ok with redirection to bank and successfully processed...

however yougov still shows as expired, either that or some kind of error!!!

    driving me insane!!!

They have all sorts of system troubles. I have given up reconsenting but I am unable today to add another account, despite them saying I can still add one. Might be worth you reporting your issue to them so they can fix it?

I was able to reconsent mine after reducing from 10 accounts to 9. It's not letting me re-add the 10th, but technically access expires tomorrow so perhaps I have to wait for that before I can add it back in (it says I've added 9 accounts, but I've got no rewards left to redeem). Annoyingly, it reconsented a savings account that I deleted. I was going to keep that slot open for a new credit card.
I think if you wish to selectively reconsent just some accounts you previously authorised under a bank, the safest option is to delete, revoke access via the bank, and then add again manually selecting only those accounts you want. That way they aren't authorised to access the accounts you don't want added.

    Just doing some experiment:

    I deleted and re-added one account. At the end, I got message "You can expect 500 in 24 hours". The "Remaining award" reduce by 1;

I also reconnected two accounts together from the same bank. I didn't get any message about the points and the "Remaining award" reduce only by 1.

It seems the safest way is to delete all accounts and added them back one by one, even they are from the same bank?
