Yep I got 500 points added for the same bank account and 100 for the same credit card as previously
A bit mean of them to just give us 100 point for credit cards though0 -

In fact I'm not actually sure you can revoke as when you add you authorise 90 days access. They will send you an e-mail requesting re-authorisation just before expiry.
Be aware that if you run into any difficulties, customer service can be terrible.
You can revoke any Open Banking authorisation at the respective bank. No idea what would happen if you did.
As to their CS - it doesn't surprise me if it's terrible. Other than this 500 points bribe, I have not found anything good about yougov0 -

...As soon as you have 5,000 points, you can request a payout. Payouts can be bank transfers into one of your current accounts, or £50 vouchers for Amazon, Tesco, John Lewis,TK Maxx and many more known brands.Worth noting (at least when I last tried doing it) YouGov may say they need extra personal information from you (for AML reasons) before they will make good on the payment. For some people that won't matter, but for others who might sign up using minimal personal information for privacy reasons, the AML information required to cash out might be an issue. It would be interesting to know which payout method you used Band7 and what (if anything) extra they asked you for as confirmation.
They have never asked me for any extra personal information
I have always had it paid into my current account, no problems1 -
Well that was fun! 11 accounts added (including Tesco Pay+, don't think that one will stand).0

If you are prepared to let yougov snoop (using Open Banking technology) through your current accounts, some savings accounts (not Regular Savers, sadly) and credit card accounts, they will credit you with 500 points per account.MikeJXE said:

Looks like it's 500 points for current account or credit card, and 100 for savings:
You will be rewarded 500 YouGov points for active GBP current accounts and credit cards, and 100 points for savings accounts
Although not sure how to track easily. Account history shows the points, but not which account they are for.
I too had some orphaned point left, after redeeming.
So created a bunch of LBG easy savers, then got bored of doing that, so applied for a spare Halifax current account to add 😁
Just waiting for those points to register after re-adding the banks.
I have excluded main/live current accounts though, to keep a bit of privacy.
They may get some odd spending stats from that behaviour.1 -

I wonder who their customers are?0 -
Virgin Money doesn't seem to connect to this for me. When I try to connect the Virgin Money accounts it takes me to the login page asking for different log in information than I have for my online banking. I'm guessing that they link you to one of the different online banking platforms they use for their older YB customers or something.1

Trying to decide whether this is somehow a scam on the basis of 'if something seems too good to be true .....'orsomething I should be leaping on, like bank account bribes for serial account switchers.....hmmmm .....views?TIA1

I can't believe anybody would actually do this, let alone actually want to.
Oh well, there will soon be digital money, digital Id's, carbon credit scores, social credit scores etc... I guess many don't care about privacy/independence anymore as long as there is a few quid in it.4 -

I have always had it paid into my current account, no problemsPerhaps you'd already given them sufficient details (as per Band7's reply) when you signed up to YouGov, so they didn't need to ask again?Address and DoB were probably the ones I baulked at providing.0
