It's 6 days since this offer was announced on here but still no mention on the main site despite it being higher than top choice First Direct. Is there a catch to it that precludes it?0

Possibly because it involves taking out a packaged bank account, which MSE don't want to push, and don't want to encourage people to use the upgrade-swtich-downgrade loophole?

You just need the card because you quote part of the long number in the switch application.

I tried to switch my Nationwide account to the Silver Lloyd’s account, but it said ‘This account can’t be switched at this time’. Any ideas why? I’m sure I didn’t see anything in the T&Cs about an exclusion for Nationwide…0

I tried my luck with the last Halifax offer about a month ago and switched a dummy account but I didn't get the bonus because I already had one after their cut off date for the last switch offer.
