Okay still don't understand the eligibility/apply for hardship grants/funds offered by energy suppliers, such as British Gas offering £1500 max for example.
To clarify, lets say example your account balance is showing negative - £100 in debt with british gas, So out of £1500 max fund, british gas will only help with £100 towards your account balance to bring your account out of debt to show balance £0? Plus on top of this how you show proof that you seen a debt advisor? Is there like a list of approved debt advisors that you have to choose from a list to see or can you go to any debt advisor or online only service debt advisor? What else you need to do to qualify for this help?
The average house pays bills by direct debit with the average energy bill of £250 per month, how does a household get into £1500 debt with their energy supplier with a direct debit still active? Unless they cancelled their direct debit and couldn't pay for 6 months to equate to negative - £1500 account balance and like I mentioned at the start energy companies are more likely to chase this debt before the 6 months time is up.
Or can you show other debts with other creditors, not just the debt with the energy supplier, to get maximum help from this £1500 hardship grant/fund by british gas?

For goodness sake it has been explained in great detail why E7 is not suitable for you, why do you persist with this?bery_451 said:Cheers, is there like a site that compares Economy 7/10 non-smart meter tariffs from energy suppliers to find out the cheapest peak rate hours in the West Midlands Birmingham region?
Then I can compare that cheapest peak hours rate to the capped SVR rate to check if its worth it.
Just to clarify Economy 7 is better than Economy 10? I thought Economy 10 is better with 3 extra off-peak hours right?0 -
If you really have debt issues you would be better off discussing them on the Dept-free Wanabee board where you will get good advice. Also stay away from gambling with crypto.bery_451 said:Okay still don't understand the eligibility/apply for hardship grants/funds offered by energy suppliers, such as British Gas offering £1500 max for example.

For someone with storage heaters - particularly older ones which would not retain heat through the day - E10 may work better. For someone with newer storage heaters, E7 may work out better. For you, who has neither, probably neither E10 nor E7 are correct for you - but you would need to work out your ACTUAL day/night use split to be certain, as has already been pointed out.bery_451 said:Cheers, is there like a site that compares Economy 7/10 non-smart meter tariffs from energy suppliers to find out the cheapest peak rate hours in the West Midlands Birmingham region?

I'd agree with debt issues being better taken to DFW - horses for courses here - this board for the E7 query, DFW for the debt side of things. I assume if you have energy debt then it's unlikely that you will not also have other debt OP - so my suggestion would be to complete the Statement of Affairs (Link to the calculator we suggest you use is in my signature) and paste that into your opening post on your thread over there, then we'll be able to get a better grasp of how your budget might not be working for you.

Yes I agree 99% of Crypto is a scam. Even no.2 rank crypto coin Ethereum is a scam because Ethereum changed its blockchain network from decentralised to centralised last sept I believe meaning its network no longer decentralised meaning people who have the most Ethereum coins get to control its network, that is the richest Ethereum stakers have full control now of its blockchain network, no different to a normal bank high street bank now as you can say lol, at least banks are FCA regulated with FSCS compensation protection for people with bank accounts however in Crypto regulation framework is not there yet and Rishi Sunak wants the regulation to be there quickly hence why I asked in that thread about which crypto services that are registered and regulated otherwise it will be gambling if it isn't. Except decentralised bitcoin of course, which is seen as a digital commodity where nobody can regulate it or control it like they can do with Ethereum.0 -
You’ll get general assistance to help with your debt over on DFW - and we may well have someone over there who can advise on the requirements for the suppliers assistance schemes.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

From what you have written above I guess your knowledge of crypto is as bad as your understanding of E7 so you should not touch it with a barge pole.bery_451 said:

I'm not a expert of Econony 7 and yes I agree my knowledge is bad on E7 meters hence that's the main reason why I started this thread on Economy 7/10 otherwise if I knew I wouldn't even start this thread to find out and gain knowledge from helpful experts such as yourself
