First work shift is done. I'll wash the breakfast dishes, hoover through then take a look at the list.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

All hail, Tim, the conquering hero! We have a Gus. Gus is great. Gus knows where to find us and where to leave parcels.
ASB - really interested in your role about rural poverty. We live in the sticks, albeit not outwardly stricken. But the glossy magazine view of the country, with the constant aga filled kitchens and foraged decorations does grate when you see reality.
Coming down from the rafters after a week at work. Today’s flying has been the inevitable wm, dinner, kitchen tidy. It’s a night in with a cuppa and maybe some cake if I can lay my hands on some. DH “mended” the downstairs loo….towels and the floor are mow drying out….6 -
Well, I felt a bit better as I tackled the paid stuff today. As I hadnt checked in I didnt realise it was the love of my dear Flylady friends seeping into my subconscious and making me believe in myself. Thanks all, at the risk of repeating myself my life is genuinely better with you all in it.
I am worried about Dizzy too. It really would be too much for her to have been flooded again, hope she and the family and animals are safe.
You are doing so well with the NSDs ASB. I am trying. DH wanted to go to the shop to get something interesting for tea tonight but I wasnt having that. Leftover casserole eeked out with HM savoury scones, mash and veg. We live in a pretty, rural, touristy area and poverty is very much hidden but the Foodbank is busier than ever. Sad isnt it?
I am so glad Tim has found Pigpen, round of applause for that delivery driver.
Two loads of washing almost dried outside and finished in tumbler and put away. Whole house hoovered through, general tidy around, few more Christmas bits put away. Feet up now with some Christmas chocolates and maybe a Baileys in a little while.9
