Still reading along - what a week!!!
@pigpen I wish I had half your energy
@Valli grrrrr to house upkeep costs
This week (& it’s only Thursday):
GP appointment - Thyroid still playing up, meds have been doubled in last 12 weeks - sooooo tired
Nurse appointment for B12 injection - she is challenging whether I need them, Dr is adamant (he wants my levels high to help with thyroid exhaustion symptoms)- wish they would communicate with each other, not through me
Mental Health Appointment - have been given place at local college on anxiety management course with one day’s notice - hence why I am sat here in the cafeteria scoffing a chocolate muffin - quite enjoying the college vibe, been a while since I’ve been here. Don’t think I’ll learn anything new but the hopefully refresher will be good
Changed pharmacy - hopefully new independent one will be an improvement - old one (Ll@yds) has been total pants since Brexit / Pandemic
Submitted DM’s annual accounts to local Courts - she has Dementia and I act as Receiver - note to all, make sure your Power of Attorneys are in place - saves a world of pain
No wonder I’m tired - flying wise
People Fed
Dishes Done
Clothes Washed
Have a good day all, Thrifty xxx

I'm up to 325mcg on thyroid meds and my body is 'still struggling' apparently.. I have not a single symptom, never have.. I don't even book blood test appointments any more, the GP made a referral to endocrinology after the last blood tests in March but who has time for hospital appointments? I haven't received an appointment but I do not have time to waste sitting in a waiting room because they think their time is more important than mine. My HB was 7.1 in March ( I refuse to have that done any more too.. they also made a hospital referral but they are incapable of making sensible times.. 9am and 2:30 I have had.. and in September they sent me the exact same appointment 3 times.. I still couldn't get there... I got angry and cancelled the referral. Then, I don't sleep, (a whole 4 hours last night Usually it is 5-6) I got to bed about 3.. was up about 5.. which disturbed the cat who needed love and walked about purring and loving me for about half an hour.. then up for school. I also have referrals in for a few other pointless things I will just cancel no doubt.. when I refuse the referrals they say they have to do them, I say I'm not going to go.. and they send it anyway.. it is just silly.. anyway, where I am going with this is.. (lol) .. ask for a referral to endocrinology. GP's can identify a problem but they don't look for a cause or underlying problem whereas a consultant can and should and can then treat more effectively.
But help yourself to meds and energy.. I would just like to sleep sometimes..
Looking at my list from yesterday.. but we need to start by putting the bed in the middle room.. but I seem to have lost OH..
I have to rebuild my kitchen.. I had an 'oops' last night.. but I had a brainwave.. I own a carpet washer..
(the 2 huuuge tins of peas are my step so I can open the window and let the cat in and out)

Hello all. Hope you're all ok.
I have been busy at the paid stuff but they're taking the mick a bit so I'm absolutely only sticking to my hours now.
So far today then: work shift, walked poppet, dailies, 15 minutes weeding, put dry washing away and hoovered through.
I'm going to mop the floors next then I'll consult the list.
Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning Afternoon all.
This morning I have
- showered and dressed and eaten breakfast
- tidied the utility, put bird food and empty boxes away, folded dry washing, bagged up CS items
- put breakfast stuff in the DW, wiped down kitchen worktops - again!
- did a 2-min tidy of the LR
- put stakes in the two hyacinth bowls and tied up the droopy (heavy) flower heads
- made my bed and re-made DH's
- transferred a small amount of money as a test
- got DH to drive me to the local shops; asked him to go into the Co0p to dispose of soft plastic and buy a birthday card while I went to hairdresser's
- decluttered half my hair (by length, not just on one side)
- got back into car and asked DH if he had found a suitable card. Response = "Duhhhhhh, I forgot"
- bought suitable card for 92yo
- asked DH to dispose of the mouse that a neighbour's cat had left on our drive
- made coffee, which I'm now drinking.
Still to do today:
- check if the money transfer worked and, if so, move more money
- send an e-card for a birthday today
- take Rosie for a walk
- make bacon rolls for lunch
- ask my chauffeur *nicely* to take me out again
- drop items at CS
- post birthday card to 92yo
- buy suitable birthday card for soon-to-be-teenager DGS2 (local shop didn't have any)
- go to GP nurse for new dressing
- go to the greengrocer's and Mr Al for food, as the !!!!!! are almost empty
- phone a friend
- file bank paperwork
- put together something for tea, using up the older bits and pieces
- try to finish the jigsaw
Hope your work meeting has gone OK, YL - thinking of you x
Hope the paint's dry, pigpen x
Hope your employers have realised that they are being unreasonable, Jazee x
Peace, flower power and love to all xxx11 -

There is much information available to show that thyroid and B12 issues go hand in hand.. He sounds like a smart Dr to me, getting B12 treatment is like finding hens teeth in some places!
I have pernicious anemia and can vouch that the tiredness is awful, like a permanent exhaustion or constantly walking uphill in treacle! (Had my injection this morning thankfully or without it I’d get no flying done at all!)
I hope your tiredness improves quickly and that they find a treatment plan that works for you! X

Hi all
Thanks for thinking about me Iona. Someone at work is stirring up trouble, in fact everyone seems in a bit of a strange mood. Post Christmas blues maybe, I think the next couple of weeks will be challenging. I have to go on a Teams call this evening but feet up for now.
Its so cold out there and our house is cold. DH has lit the fire. Hope Pixie is OK now Pigpen, and did you really chop 8inches off your hair!!?
I have wiped down the kitchen cupboard fronts. We had stir fry for tea and the DW is on. That's about the sum total of my flying today.11
