I'm at 8% paid. Done it a bit of a strange way round. Finally got a letter from u credit so decided to clear what I owed. I used the money I had saved up. DH is off on sick and I still don't know about my contract which might end tomorrow - if we end up claiming again I wanted to have a clean slate with no deductions! It's been a v spendy month. March will be as well due to family b days. After that things tend to calm down until my MOT in summer. And my debts now are dmp ones so I can budget better -those payments are reasonable.

it must feel better having cleared UC? I was wondering if you had heard about your contract. If you don't get it renewed is it worth joining an agency or similar?

DMP must feel controlled as well.

Yeah it does feel better clearing it. Feels worse owing a priority debt sometimes doesn't it. Work wise the decision is still being made high up so the general consensus by management is come to work till further notice or till I'm told otherwise. Yeah if my contract finishes I'll register with agencies and look for work. If DH off work long term we will have to claim u c to see if we can get any help as he only gets SSP. I would imagine if both of us claimed it wouldn't be much money but better than nothing. I've only really a year left of childcare as everyone will be at highschool soon. Theirs no summer care round here for highschool age so I'd have to consider that when looking around for other work. If we have to claim I'll go on the turn to us calculator and run the numbers
