Hi everyone,
I hope those debt balances are all going in the right direction for you all.
I have managed to add £677.13 into our OP savings pot today thanks to our subscription cuts savings and my Etsy earnings so at least I'm off and running for June.
My total now stands at £14770.45 / £81700 = 18.07%
I'm creeping up a little bit at a time and am very happy to have hit the 18% mark. Fingers crossed reaching 19% will not take me quite as longMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Morning all,
Pay day from Burger King today so I have transferred all £174.46 of it into the OP savings account.
My total now stands at £14994.91 / £81700 = 18.29%
I feel like we are making no progress whatsoever at the moment but all these pennies must be adding up as my percentage is moving in the right direction albeit very slowly
I have another £305 coming to me tomorrow thanks to chippy wages for the last two weeks so hopefully that will help to keep me motivated by moving my total that little closer to the 19% markMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Morning all.
It's been a few days since I last managed to add to my total but I can finally declare that I have added a further £435.75 into my OP savings pot today.
This is made up of chippy wages (£350.75), a FB Marketplace sale (£10) and our additional rent we are getting each month with our new tenant (£75).
My total now stands at £15430.66 / £81700 = 18.88%
I think the size of the task ahead of us is just sinking in but I am determined that we will clear these mortgages early so we can retire and start to enjoy life
At least we have now cleared the 15K mark ready to pay off this second mortgage so things are going in the right direction - albeit a lot slower than I would like.
Anyone have any ideas on how we can find a spare £160K so we can just retire nowMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
