Thanks for the birthday wishes. No calories counted yesterday 👍 We went to a new street food place that has food from various countries. Although not a conventional restaurant I really enjoyed it. So a lovely day was had and I am now in possession of a fancy new bit fit and I put it through its paces yesterday. I’m recovering today as I’m shattered 😵💫 It’s not the latest model but certainly better than my previous one which had fallen out with my phone and they’d stopped talking. I have a lovely little carved wooden vase which I’d admired on a recent day out at a craft place.👍
The doctor did indeed phone and I was on the phone about 20 minutes to him. Thankfully I was on my way to the tram station in a park across the road from home and not sat on a tram full of people 😳 He was very hard to understand but absolutely lovely. So the up shot is he wants more blood samples. Most things were within the normal range but one was particularly high and it’s usually accompanied by another high reading but mine wasn’t…..trust me to be awkward. So he wants to check it wasn’t an abnormal reading through a lab glitch, before he takes it further. He’s also requested different tests……I really can’t fault the service. There can’t be much more to test 😂I’ve got an appointment the week after I come back from dds.
I did go to SW this morning and pleased I’d lost 1/2lb…..think it’s the first time I’ve ever had a loss in a birthday week. I’m now back where I was several weeks ago 😏👍January spends - £587.583 -

Glad you're getting good service from your GP and also that you had a lovely birthday!
As for the coat - well done for stepping away from it for now. If they've presented you with a special offer once they will undoubtedly do it again, and ultimately if you don't have the money for it right now, then you don't!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I arrived home yesterday. Left dds in the South of England in a thin top with my raincoat and cardigan packed up. By the time I got off the train in my own town I was wearing them both and had to put my hood up in the pouring rain…..That’s a North/South divide I could do without.
I had a great time with Dd and family. We dropped the gks to school after a lot of early morning colouring and story reading to youngest😂😂 the Dd and myself had a mooch around town and walk along the seafront people and boat watching 😁 We followed this by a lovely ‘lunch’ gks kept telling me off for calling it dinner at midday ☺️. I chose a lovely top for my birthday and tried some magic trousers on. I decided not to buy the trousers as Dd was angling to get them for me but she’d already bought my top from my favourite seaside shop. I might get some next time I see them. I know there has been conversations about magic trousers in diaries but it’s the first time I’ve actually seen them to try on.I was treated to a reflexology session which was amazing…..and had some essential oils made up. I’m not sure if it’ll do any good but it can’t do any harm.
I was sitting playing games at about 6.30 pm with gks and my phone rang. It was the GP with some of the test results. He wanted to prescribe some antibiotics. I explained I wasn’t at home so the prescription was sent to a local chemist and collected at 9 am the following morning. I really can’t complain about my GP surgery at the moment. I just need to repeat some of the blood tests to see if they’re any better than last time……hopefully I’ll get an answer to what’s going on. It’s more annoying than making me poorly but it’d be good to be able to sort it out once and for all. It’s probably nothing but could be linked to a problem I’ve had on and off for years.
I went to SW this morning and lost another 1/2lb……that’s 3 losses in a row. Think it’s some sort of record…..only another 21 lb to go 🙃January spends - £587.582
