I agree with EH. I would be wanting to ensure that this was reported to the police. I have read a few things recently where the school tried to put it down as boys will be boys. But breaking someones arm can not be written off as a bit of fun.

Yes EH…his parents won’t leave things as they are…and will follow it through to the end. Their priority was getting through the initial trauma - think the whole family were in shock. Parents are both in a professional role which enables them to know exactly what’s what - I know they’ll take things further and get some justice and do their best to stop it happening again.I’ve been tired today. I went to aqua this morning and then went out for dinner with Dh. We have a loyalty card at a local chain of Italian restaurants. The restaurant are ending the scheme so we needed to use the £38 credit we had, we’ve had a lovely Italian meal and home made chocolate truffles and drinks for under £20 cash. We probably won’t visit the restaurant again as it’s quite pricey without the loyalty vouchers they sent out, shame as it’s very nice in there. Early night for me tonight.

Beanie I suspect they’ll have shot themselves in the foot. It’s a nice treat to go there but the prices have gone up a lot….saying that they are in quite well to do areas and seem full every evening I’ve passed. We first went there 10 years ago when Dh had vouchers for his 60th birthday…..in between times we’ve mainly been with vouchers but always spent some cash…they have been very generous with the vouchers….sending them out every birthday and Christmas and you collected points along the way.I suppose they want to get rid of the customers like us and attract the folk with lots of cash 😂😂
Well I’m not quite sure how but I’ve lost 1 lb this morning at chub club.I’d forgotten about a WI meeting until the last minute last night. Anyway I went and thoroughly enjoyed a craft night. I’d made a flower out of paper that I’d never made before…..the other activities were ok too. I fell into bed at 9 when I got home. £1 spent on a lime and soda. I’ve stopped drinking diet drinks after reading some of the book I have on UPF…..January spends - £587.581 -

Had a lovely ‘ let’s see how the day happens’ day today.Dh made bacon butties for breakfast and we decided to go out for a ride and ended up calling at a friends house. She lost her hubby earlier this year and it would have been his birthday and their wedding anniversary mid week so we popped round on the off chance she’d be in, she was in so we had a cuppa and a chat with her. We’d gone the scenic route as a road was shut so we went through a town we’ve passed by many times but never actually stopped at. Anyway after driving through the town and taking the wrong road out and touring half of the county before arriving at her house, we decided to visit said town on our way home. It was a bit sad to see as there were many vacant properties. We hadn’t realised the canal and a river ran through so we had a short walk and there was a spoons so we had a late dinner/early tea. I had the nicest steak I’ve had in a long while and jacket and salad with a cuppa. We’d parked in Mr T carpark so called in for some milk. I started looking at coats in there as I bought one and sent it back last year as it didn’t fit. I actually want a going out coat…..I’ve got a faux fur one that used to comes out for posh occasions - I don’t do posh occasions these days 😵💫 and an anorak style everyday one. I want something in between. The coat I tried on looked hideous on me so - think the sleeves were made for an urang-utan . I’ve been trawling t’internet…..oh my goodness….the prices. I’d seen one from my very favourite shop that you often find in seaside places….especially around Cornwall. It was £160…the only other one that was my style was on the JL site at £350 😵💫😳😳😳😳 - no way. It made the first one I’d seen seem a bargain. I’ve had a very expensive time recently with buying show tickets for Dh birthday and Donny and train tickets to see Dd. I’m pondering and if I don’t see anything else, I might just succumb next month. I did show it Dh and there might be a miracle as it’s my birthday later this week. I don’t expect him to buy something so expensive though so it would definitely be a miracle 😂😂😂😂January spends - £587.580

Good luck with the jacket hunt. I'm in the same boat and could do with a new one. Might see if I can hold out until January when we go to the Designer Outlet on our way to York.
Hope your great nephew is recovering well. Such a horrible thing to happen to him. I hope the culprits get their punishment.0 -
Glad to hear that the situation with Gt Nephew will be followed through - and quite right too. Completely understandable that they need to deal with the initial trauma first too, it must have been a horrible shock for the whole family.
