It turned out to be a lovely unexpected weekend. We’d not planned anything but Ds came around yesterday and we ended up driving to a seaside place an hour or so away and watched the firework display. We got a cracking seat on the pier just by the side of the fireworks - a fantastic view. We didn’t get home until gone 11 so a very late night for me. The place was absolutely heaving though but we did well avoiding the crowds. I can’t believe we managed to find a seat….we were just lucky as a couple had got up. A cheap day out.
Today I visited a friend and we’ve bought tickets to see our childhood crush 😂😂😂 we figured if we don’t go to see him now we could well be watching him with his Zimmer frame 😂😂😂😂 Really looking forward to it. I made sure we were seated 👍
So money spent today on tickets.
My friend was having a clear out so I’ve come home with lots of Christmas material…..hopefully it won’t sit in my material box for the foreseeable 😵‍💫 must see what I can do with it.
I could happily nod off to sleep now after my busy day yesterday, didn’t sleep well last night.

Can’t be David Cassidy or Les McKeown because sadly no longer with us. Donny? Rod? Barry Manilow? Tom? Come on put us out of our misery 🤣

Phew now we can all sleep tonight 🤣 My first boyfriend was Canadian and the image of Donny although I preferred David Cassidy 😆 Of the two Donny weathered the best in later years, probably down to his clean living lifestyle. Enjoy as I bet he puts on a good show 👍

I was a bit flippant with my affections back in the 70s….My bedroom walls had a varied array of posters from various magazines..I think I equally loved Donny and the 2 David’s. I’d happily go  see David Essex….now he has matured quite nicely….those eyes 😂😂😂😂 David C  didn’t wear time well though. Sad he’s no longer with us. Got to admit Donny and Marie did grate on my nerves a bit…..too smarmy by far. But I did like Donny singing.
