Gorgeous pics tg. I have that dark purpley shrub with the ink flowers after seeing it in a neighbours garden last year, absolutely gorgeous

Your garden is beautiful TG. The berries look fantastic, a lovely harvest.

Thank you all it means a lot as I am really happy with it too and I have not had to do any of the work on it. Daisy that shrub is a black lace elderflower they are so pretty dont blame you for getting one. They grow quite fast so you need to keep on top of it. Today the clematis has come out in full bloom I need a better trellis next year and also do a good old chop down on some of the perennials as they are looking a bit sad and floppy. That should give them a second bloom.
Yesterday I started tackling the bindweed in the new patch of lawn. It is horrible. Next door (the new neighbour with the vineyard). We got chatting and he offered to spray it with the weedkiller you cannot get here as he has access as a "hobby farmer". Free of charge too which means less to get sprayed when the other guy gets back in touch. That was so kind of him he has so much to do himself but it will help him as the weeds spread into his new garden so it is in his interest I get on top of mine. I know we have to protect the wildlife but bindweed is just impossible and the new grass has no chance if I do not get on top of it.
We played golf last night with the Weds lot and they were really friendly so that was great. DG played her best round ever and I did well too. I think that playing lesson is really paying off. She has now finally got her HCP cut so she is quite happy for a change.
It is raining now which is just ideal for the garden and the electric is minus we have everything running now incl the tumble dryer. We are having chilli and jacket for lunch which will be nice. Can't remember if I wrote my dad is going to a new home today. One specifically for dementia. I am seeing my sister on Saturday and then she has confirmed the summerhouse. Sadly DGs train to Copenhagen is mainly busses and metro so it will be a royal pain. I might take her and then visit my dad and I could also take my mum to the Summerhouse. We shall see she is coming Saturday so we can all discuss it. The bridge is £50 return and I am also going over 21st July for my dads hearing aids collection.
DG got a call this morning from a landlord we think it is referral from an existing one. I will be the 3rd client for the new business which is just great. I have done my part I still need to do some prep for marketing on Monday but we have time. Right now I am quite hungry and we are having a late lunch of jackets and chilli so going to stick the oven on to use some negative prices of electrics.

Thanks Beanielou and Daisy it is a worry but he does need to be kept safe just been ideal if he could have moved straight over here instead of that move but not to be.
The client we got yesterday turns out there are some issues with her paperwork so we cannot take the route we had hoped for but we spotted it in time and that is the main thing or it could have gone to court and been struck out and we would have looked like fools.
Got my new hoses for the garden and the connectors so all set just need to put it together. I also spent £40 on wasp killer but it had to be sprayed straight at the nest hole and it is in a corner of the shed so not sure that is going to work.
Also bought a de-fluffer for sweaters I have been wanting for ages and some more cheese in Lidl. I forgot to get my free fruit (I think it was just an induvial item so not too exciting but still annoying. I also got a couple of things for my mum she has wanted for ages so she can have that tomorrow. I do need to help her book her train tickets this country is just no good for those who cannot use IT. (which she can but struggles now).
Today I must get on with the marketing posts ready for next week and also look at why the tumble dryer stopped working yesterday. Yes we did forget there is a water tank you need to empty but we have been doing the filters so not sure. It just stopped and now you cannot turn it back on. I really hope it is not burnt out off to ask Gemini now that I have gotten used to having one for the first time ever I am not quite ready to let it go.
Have a lovely Friday all.
PS this never happens but I forgot to checked PB and I won 5 prizes £375 that is a good haul. £50 for DG that will pay for a new Tumble-dryer but lets see if we cannot get it working.

What a beautiful garden you have made Tall Girl. It really is joyful to look at. Lovely flowers - especially the rose. 🌹

Quick check this morning as we are about to do our accounts. We have sorted the joint accounts out so we now have a food account and a bills one. We each pay in £725 and the bills are £460 so the rest is for food. We are not sure this is enough but we will use our old joint account for random joint spending as we can both transfer into that. We also have the PB for fun money so hopefully it will work out. I need to add 2 months bills money into the joint account when my UK money hits my DK account and move all the bills over.
Also signed up for free festival as we have just moved to this council we shall see if we get them. It is in September so ages but local and could be fun.
My sisters birthday was nice and lovely to see my nephew who I have not seen since Xmas. My mum also came over.
Just about to do DGs account now.

We got the accounts done and DG has not got to pay a lot of tax last year as she hardly earnt anything on her self-employed business. This year should be a lot better.
We did play golf but it was really windy so only played 9 then chatted with one of the ladies we really get on with and sadly they are relocating to near Copenhagen has her daughter is having a baby. They will still be around this area but it is a shame as he is Scottish and they are both really lovely and speak English.
I have done my marketing so that is all good and I want to make a start on moving the bills over. However my sister and niece and mum are coming for lunch so I have been frantically cleaning the house (it was so bad with cat hair). I am done now robo is doing the rest. Did not get any further on list over the weekend but there are lots more to add.
Set up car for the bridge tool has to be done today as we have had to abandon DG taking the train as it is train replacement and metro and not possible with a huge suitcase. It is adding even more to the cost of the travel which is really annoying but me taking her would also be impossible and mean 4 times across the bridge for me. At least I can see my dad and drive my mums cars to the Summer house.
I best get on my family arrives about 12 ish so not long. Oh and before I forget well done England.
