Ordered the car and signed the agreement I have never spent that much on a car but hopefully we will keep it a long long time due to the depreciation. I have researched chargers and it looks like getting the electrician to install them is the best option and then not take on a subscription as we drive so little but need to check with BIL.

DGs hearing did not go that well as the other side were really horrible and applied bully tactics so she gave up work about 3pm and we went to try another chemist and guess what not in stock and only 4 places has it. I did find an app that shows where in the country they are but nearest is 100 km away which is crazy. The prescription is for 1 month only so I cannot see myself doing this every month it would drive me crazy. I wonder if I should just give up and come off it. If I stay off medication for 1 year I can join the insurance and get cheaper meds for life. I have to be med free for 1 year and I only have until I turn 60 to join which I agree is stupid and unfair. I think I will call the gyno I saw and see what they suggest. Yes i should have looked earlier but I really thought it would be easy to get hold off. I have messaged them and lets see if I should just stop I am quite frankly rather fed up now with the whole thing. I mean I waited 3 months for the appointment and then this feels like such a waste of time. One thing that does not seem better in the UK.

Sorry for the moan but it is really getting to me and I wish I had started looking much earlier.

I called about my op and it is with the specialist doctors diary so I just have to wait. I got them to block out 2 weeks in Aug when we are in the UK.

Sorted an old account out and got it closed after getting bored with their weekly emails so that is no longer cluttering up my emails. DG is totally stressed due to her cases so nothing new there. I have that survey call in 30 min so best get prepared.

Morning going to be 23 degrees here before the weekend heatwave at 27 so golf tonight should be really nice.

I did get a few things ticked off the list yesterday but more to do today in particular the china I really want to put it away now it is in the way. I think the car is booked but not heard from dealer will chase on Monday if I do not hear anything maybe they only order once a month who knows 🤔.

The company I have my investments with her in Denmark wants to stop foreign payments so I will ask my cash ISA to be cashed in and move it over asap. I need it for the car and it makes sense to have everything in one place.

I have messaged the gyno asking what I can do about not being able to get the prescription. There is currently only 1 chemist in Denmark that has them in stock which is rather stupid that you cannot pre order. I have found another 4 patches which are not the same but I might be able to use to stretch things a bit further. We shall see.

Garden still progressing I am loving it but the slugs are really a nightmare. I am now using beer in milk cartons at least they can be chucked afterwards. I rigged the hose up last night for the bottom of the garden to water the grass as I found a brand new water spreader in the shed. Very nice win but you still have to move it along as it does not cover the whole to the patch. I am having to step on the new lawn to move it which is not ideal but not sure what else I can do. Lets just hope the grass starts growing soon. I am going to let the rest of the plot continue with long grass the the farmer will cut that in the autumn and then I can get my new yet to be bought robo to take over and keep it down. I want to plant some more fruit trees on the plot and maybe take cuttings of the black and red current bushes and move those. They do take a lot of space up in the main garden but are well established so seems a shame to lose them. I should get a good crop this year.

I got 3 loads of washing done yesterday and just brought the last in as we it is now raining which was not forecast. Obviously good for the grass so not complaining. The electricity was 4 times higher than normal last night between 8pm and 9pm so need to be extra careful with when we do things.

Sorted DGs eye app out you can just book one with a specialist no need to go via the optician so that was easy. We need to call to book the smear that did not have an online option.

Sorted electrician not with reply and also asked him to fit a new smoke alarm as the other one broke.

I need to go to the shops to get some essentials we are running really low on everything.

Lovely weekend the work day for the local area was lovely I learnt to willow weave which was great fun and I now have willow to make my own plant supports which is well cool actually. We had a dinner together in the evening so met some new people and got to know the nearest neighbours even better. The ones with the dog who bite our cat are actually really nice. We have invited them to use the pool bar to make some angels in willow in October for Halloween then we can have a meal in the evening. Should be fun.

Moved the back lawn but not the new part or the front it quite hot so not keen to do it. Cannot wait until I get a robo I really do need it.

Not a lot else to report have a lovely Monday and try to stay cool.

It sure gets hot here and I was really cracking on with the garden yesterday. It takes so so much longer than my old garden and I really need a robo to do the grass. I am also watering the new grass in the evening having to move the spreader around to reach it all. I then have to move the hose back into this garden to water my pots so a bit of a faff. I do have an automated watering system which I could rig up on the tap at the front but it means getting some hose to reach all the way to the back. My very small veg production is going ok after the slugs ate a lot of it. Peas coming up nicely and so is the salad and tomato's in the new self watering boxes.

I planted up a few more of the perennials I had in pots out the front where there is tulips and marigolds so I fancies something more permanent and hopefully the slugs will leave them alone.

I have finally got my date for my operation and pre-op. It is end of August so trip to UK is fine which is great. Not so great is they have moved it to a larger hospital in the city which is impossible to park at I have been told. I actually have to go there today for the follow up to my mammogram so I get to see for myself. Annoying thing about the move is that it a lot further and DG will have to take me and drop me off for the actual op. Well it is not until Aug so cannot stress about that now.

We got the final details for our trip Friday and we need to order sandwiches and bring our own food for Friday. I am really looking forward to it but we have a playing lesson tomorrow and then meant to play 9 in the evening then 2 x 18 holes while away. Lets hope it is a flat course.

Also managed to use a few of the willow branches yesterday to make 3 support for plants. They look really nice even if they are rustic and they were free. Am I the only one who finds buying plant supports super expensive and they are always too short?

So I wont get much done on the list today but we can now add that the dishwasher as worked itself loose again because of the way they delayed fitting the worktop. The joys!!!

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday as we had a lovely St Hans evening with the family and her two friends plus some very cute tiny dogs. We sat around the bonfire and made pancakes over the ashes which tasted so good.

It was a late on and then we had the playing lesson in the morning. It was hot but very good and we met my mum afterwards. We had lunch by the harbour at the new pop up food stalls. Sadly my mum cannot eat fish and it was a lot of fish and the sandwich she chose was really crap which was a shame. We then went back here and I spent some time chatting to her and showing her the garden etc. She didn't leave until 9pm to go back to my sisters. I think she really enjoyed herself. I now have all the china here so I am hoping to put it all away today. Would be really nice to have it sorted and clear again.

I do also need to get ready for tomorrow trip and collect the clubs from the golf club. DG did not want to bring any back yesterday which was annoying as I want the car packed tonight as we are going by ferry tomorrow. It is also hot here so not sure how we are going to manage playing 18 holes over 2 days. It is on the coast so fingers crossed.

I did speak to my BIL about the Robo he had been speaking to the manufactures about the STIGA brand so he did not know a lot about the one I have found. He thinks it is a good idea to see if I could speak to someone who already has one. I have realised how many stones I need to remove so the mover does need new blades all the time. Another huge job on the new plot as they are showing due to the watering. Still the garden looks lovely right now so also time to enjoy it.

Brought out the old pop up marque and it fits on the patio here obviously it is huge. Quite funny that the 3 x 3 m could just fit on our UK one by having one leg on the steps up to the next level but here loads of room. We did not bring the sand bags for the feet but ordered some at £30 so they will arrive soon and we can at least have some shade.

Were going to hang up the willow birds we made at the volunteer day tonight that will be nice to see the other ladies again who are also our closest neighbours.

Finally my icecream tubs have been posted so I can take that off the list. I will call the kitchen company about the dishwasher I am not impressed. I might have to google what needs doing so they do not fob me off.

Anyway best crack on and you will hopefully see a cleared list later.

Morning, lovely cool here had a totally chilled Sunday after the overnighter with golf. It was a fab trip but very hot to actually play golf. I only managed 12 holes the second day but I was not the only one. I did win the comp on the first day so that was nice.

Food was nice and so was the company and it was fun taking the ferry. We did not make it to Germany it was just too much especially as we had the really bad storms just as we got off the golf course. The large brolly went flying and there was hailstones etc. Even a tree came down. Luckily the car was ok even if DG left the door open.

Speaking of cars it was an expensive argument first thing Friday morning that caused DG to slam the car keys in the door so they broke. We do have a spare manual but now you cannot remotely open and close the car which is super annoying. I have asked a company for a quote but its likely to be over £150 joys of living in an expensive country. We also forgot our charger and Garmins for golf but found a way around this so all good.

Garden survived and has enjoyed the rain but the new grass will need some more water I am sure. Pots all good it was only overnight and the cats were fine on their own.

Today I need to sort the marketing out and help DG with some work. I do also need to pick up my prescription at the chemist today. I can also get the white oil finally it is critical now as it needs it.

Joint accounts are now set up I just need to move the bills over. I also need to work out how much we should both be paying in and leave a bit of a buffer in there.

I then want to set up somewhere for the car money to be held and also work out what can now be invested now that the big items has been bought. That is part from the marque for the garden.

We did a bit of money saving yesterday by looking in the adverts that gets delivered and going to 3 different supermarkets. Lidl which is usually rubbish here had 1 kilo of mature cheddar for £9 so we got 5 in their XL offers. We also got cheaper frozen fruits for smoothies so that was useful. Spent about £150 in total but £45 of that was cheese and it was between 3 shops and lots of ice-lollies too.

Right best get on with it.

Making progress so good to finally have the meds but I forgot to bring the bottles so I can get the deposits back. I do now have weights for the pop up so we can actually start using it.

My sister has managed to borrow a Summerhouse locally about 1 hour away on an island which is connected by a bridge. Sadly DG is in the UK so she cannot come and I do not have anyone to look after the cats. I might ask the neighbours as it would be nice to go for a couple of nights we shall see.

Done the lawn and done some weeding it is never ending even when burning them. Now for watering. Worktop looks great so another tick there too.

Spent 2 hours sorting the grass out I really need a robo mower but I also need to remove all the stones if I am to have one and that is a big job. My diary sounds like a merry go around with shovelling stones or picking up stones in-between lawn moving.

Still not heard back from the company who can spray the weeds in the lawn with a date. They can do it this week or next week but I worry they are fully booked by now even though I did reply really quick.

I did hear back from the car people it is £147 to get a new key. Really annoying as that was totally unnecessary expense. I will try to do some research but it is so annoying it needs fixing.

Some good news I realised that a huge tree right across from the house in the park has lovely ripe cherries on it. They are quite high up but can be picked. I also looked at my own cherry tree and it has ripe fruit that is rapidly being eaten by the birds as I forgot to put a net on it (I even have the net). A bit late now but i did have a few of them and they were very nice like the cherries you buy in the shops a great expense. We love smoothies so I must pick my own blackcurrants and maybe make jam but we have space in the freezer so that is good and money saving a small frozen back of strawberries (and I mean tiny) is £2.50 here in winter.

Spoke to my sister she has made a complaint about my dads "girlfriend" being given a direct number for his home. That is a GDPR breach but it is my dad who has to make the complaint so all we can do is let them know it is a breach and see what they come up with. That is because we do not have POA over him. I think I will be able to go for 2 nights to the summerhouse as my sister can pop in and feed the cats on one evening.

DG wants me to do some work so best crack on as per usual at least it is not as hot here now.

Morning all good here had a lovely time playing golf last night with some lovely ladies and we may both go tonight. DG felt unwell last night so did not go but she had been working 10 hours straight.

Got my blackcurrants picked and a tub of cherries plus a few raspberries. We will use the blackcurrants for smoothies or I may make some jam.

I also got the quote back for the spraying of weeds on the lawns. It will be done this week or next week and is not cheap but it annoys me and if all the weeds are gone I can at least keep on top of it. Problem is there are just too many now.

Got permission to use the feedback and a case study for my marketing so that will be useful. I need to read all the details of the case again but plenty of time before Monday. As I have learnt you need to capture the issue the landlord has and then they see your post and contact you.

I think that is it for today have a lovely Wednesday all
