Thank you so much everyone been s bit of a whirlwind since my birthday. We have had an ace time in the UK currently on our way to Gatwick after our two night Brighton break. Seen so many lovely friends and eaten all the favourites we have missed.

Not particularly MSE but we’ve saved loads on the rail card and only paid for hotels for three nights instead of seven by staying with friends.

Got a phoneline sorted for the business which we can’t do in Denmark so that was good we also had a good rest.

Rest of this week will be hectic but also fun.

Belated happy birthday and sounds like the trip has really been fun for you.

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Thanks Watty and Beanielou it was a great trip until I put the suitcase on the luggage scanner at Gatwick and pulled a back muscle and it is so so painful. I have done it before but it has been years ago I can normally keep it at bay by doing some exercise but guess what I stopped in April and that was only once a week before that so guess it has come back to bite me. Really really painful not fun at all and we have so many things we are doing in the next few days. My GP did not want to know but we have an appointment for DG now as her sciatica is really painful and will not go away. That is from when she had shingles.

We are going to an open air theatre tonight we got it as a Christmas present and really annoying I did this to my back.

We have a lot of work on but I am struggle to sit down laying on the bed is the best way to stop the pain but that does not help it improve. I am hoping now I am on DGs slightly stronger painkillers it will ease a bit. I will now sign up for the local gym we had discussed it so shame we did not do it sooner. Obviously cannot do anything right now.

There will also be a return to the massive long to do list especially DGs need to sort tax and driving license.

It is not as hot over here so glad we escaped when we did lol. Currently 19 here. It was 16 last night when we landed it felt so cold after a week of UK weather.

Thanks Beanielou it really is not much fun and I cannot do very much which is no good when I have work to do and a load of washing to get done. We did manage the open air theatre and it was really good. DG did understand the plot so that was good (all in Danish) but basically boy meets girl then gets swept into a whole new life as a baroness and then in the end finds the love of her life amongst the common people. They drove real vintage cars around the stage was that big.

Anyway we did see a bit of the eclipse but the amphitheatre was in trees so only saw until 19.30 but still good. We did not get home until gone midnight so I am so tired this morning and DG is too and not great because of the amount of work.

It is really interesting how much ill health affects you I shall never ever stop exercising again. I did that jumping until end of March when golf started so that is only 4 months I have played golf only but it does goes to show how quick you get unfit. Obviously now I wont be able to join the gym until this goes again but I might need to see a physio or something as I think that would really help. Anyway lets stop moaning and just get on with it.

Do you have any Pilates classes in the area? as they are good for keeping core strength, etc.

I did used to do BodyBalance it was very good for my back indeed. I have got physio booked tomorrow at 11.20 I really hope they can do something. It is still so painful and the painkillers are making me constipated which is not great to be honest.

Feel like just going to bed and waking up tomorrow but not really an option.
