I am officially fed up with this back I am glad I have an appointment today for physio but I do not think I will be visiting my dad today as well. Might be a step too far. Last night the pain killers did start working so that was something but without them I am just as bad as when it happened if not worse. Please let this physio be good.

We are due to watch the golf about 45min from here tomorrow. DG is fed up with driving and I am not sure I can manage a whole day walking. We also have an away day booked for golf on Wednesday so who knows. Last time this happened it was 10 years ago and I recovered really quickly once the physio got involved. Now who knows but this is no fun.

I cannot do anything garden and I am struggling to bend down to prepping for the robo vac was a right struggle. Sorry for the moaning.

Best get back to work.

Thanks both it did thankfully he cracked something and it was so much better afterwards. I did manage to drive to the golf and back plus be on my feet most of the day. It was a fab day out at the golf a bit expensive for food and drink but we did share one lunch so that cut cost and the durums where huge anyway.

There was loads of stalls so I got a £6 cap (needed for my hair on the day) and spoke to several golf companies (no idea they had that many) and a robo lawn mover company who was a main sponsor. They are runnign a promotion where you got a free docking station and I think they are about 1/2 price of that other company I looked at. I need to draw up our lawn so see the actual size and then I want to order. The travel company does some cheap trips to Spain so might grab one when we should have gone with our old club and surprise them down there that could be so much fun.

Sunday we watched the tournament from the pool bar it was fun to see it as we had been the day before. I then met my cousin at my dads which was really nice. I learnt more about my other second and third cousins plus my dad enjoyed seeing her too. Then we saw the ending of the golf and it got really quite tight in the end which is always fun. I do hope they will get more large tournaments there as it was easy to get to and a fun day out.

Got physio later for which I am grateful as my back is still not right. I really would love to play Wednesday but I will ask him if it is sensible or I should not do it. Then I will cancel.

Right so today I shall:

Research robo mowers

Cut the lawn (if my back can do it)

Look at golf holidays

Order the mower £1700 really happy with that and it looks so cute. Marketing is done and sent email to the travel rep about his website as we cannot find the holiday in their paper brochure. It was a trip to where we were going to go with the club that would cost £2000 each but they had one in March for £800 which was a whole week and unlimited golf. It is not the same resort or golf course but it is 5km away and we really like the area. The is incl flights, half board and transfers so that is cheap. Even if it ends up being slightly more I think we will book it. I need a holiday so took forward to and here it will be so so cold.

I will do the lawn after physio my back is not brilliant but I might leave main lawn and let new robo do that part and I will do the new lawn which is full of stones so cannot be done anyway. I cannot wait to save myself 2 hours a week and even more when I need to do the whole of the new plot. I worked out we have 1300m2 lawn but the new one goes up to 2000m2 so that should cover nicely.

Decide what do do with plot that has not been cut down - done about 10m2

Order and Fit compost bins together ordered

Cut a strip away from edge of stones for robo mover to get close

Treat weeds

Paint bin shed - buy wood stain

Neaten flower bed edges ready for robo

Busy day today with physio and pre op meeting with hospital. Took 5min but 40 min drive. Did spend 35kr on cake and a bun. Needed a rest before driving back.

Then a bit of work but new robo mower arrived to set that up then went to spend an hour at the castle so see the Dahlia garden and the fushia garden. Had a look at a few of the others all beautiful but I closed at 5pm so left to try a bit of golf. No pain meds today and it was fine. A bit sore now but to be expected.

Golf tomorrow then a volunteer meeting at the cinema. Long day but should be fun.

Robo mover is cute and fun. One cat has not even spotted it yet the other has been very unimpressed with it. It need to be set really low in order to even see the grass being cut. I’m sure it will be fine once we get to know it.

Had my operation yesterday it all went fine but took all day. Arrived at 10am very efficient blood type test (which I should have done beforehand but forgot). Then spoke to the surgeons and nurses. Got down the theatre about 12 I think and not sure how long the op took. DG picked me up and then I just pottered last night. They fill you up with air and that is so painful on the shoulders and the stomach is gripey other than that fine.

I am not going to do much today other than washing clothes and hopefully get the robo mower set up to do the front lawn. It really needs it and the back is working really well not. I really wanted to remove a couple of old barriers but not sure I have the strength for that so might just get it to create a pathway to the front lawn. The weeds are starting to come back so would be good to get it cut as it has also rained to might take off again.

Celebrating my dads belated 90th tomorrow but DG will drive me there and then come back after he has left so he does not see the car. Sunday DG is playing golf most the day so I get a chill day for me.

The big to do list will just have to wait until I am more able to do stuff.
