So good news of yesterday was that Jysk gave me a new blind so that was really lucky as I did muck it up myself but it was difficult. Next time I will be more careful and make sure I get that little grub out. I will do it with DG so we can both make sure we do it right.
I went to the creative cafe last night there were 11 other women and the host. 4 of us were knitting the rest doing other things. The host was really nice and the cakes she had made were amazing. She only charges £6 for the session and as I said the cakes were divine and there was coffee and tea. DG might come next time it is a good way to meet local people. Half were my age and the other half younger.
Tonight it is the cinema but they are expecting heavy snow from midday so we shall see. When I drove back last night I spotted there are two mechanics on the main road and the one I have the car booked into is a lot further. Only 0.6 mile but I have to drop it off at 7.30am and although it is -1c it feels like -12c. I might have to take my nieces electric scooter they are legal here.
I also got the curtains hemmed yesterday so that can now come off the to do list one of the things that has been there forever so that was nice.
I also managed to invest some more money into the global fund so that is now all done for now. I want to leave a bit of money in the UK just in case but once I need to pay for the rest of the kitchen when I might need it.
DG has picked up a case for me to work on in the new business so that exciting. I also have to do her accounts today which helps her out. Her part time job is still causing a lot of stress this is also the one she has to travel to the UK for in a couple of weeks. I found her a suit on Vinted (brand new) and the seller knocked 10% off. I really hope it fits.
I think that is it I best get on and measure up for the calk board in the utility room. Have a lovely Thursday.
