So the email has arrived and I think I have read it all. It is not good news as they are basically keeping my role and expanding it to 11 people but only 2 people incl me is matched to that role. I cannot see myself getting voluntary redundancy but I wonder if they can keep me a bit longer maybe as a contractor or something. Not really sure but it is a goodbye to the potential £15K I would have got. Shame but the money was never mine and if I can hang on a bit longer I might be more likely to get the consultancy roles which might work from abroad but might not. As DG says I do have the new job to start with her and we do need to ramp up the marketing very quickly. There is a big meeting about the roles tomorrow so will know more by then but I think it might be time to come clean quite soon in case I need to resign. Well at least I can come clean before I move which would be good.

So your work doesn't actually know about your planned move? Interesting times there then for sure, will they have to make others redundant?Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

Hoping to go to the gym tonight it is one of the last ones I can get to so would be nice but I am also feeling lazy. I did make sewing club last night and it was really nice to see everyone and I will miss them so much they are a nice bunch.
I was thinking last night that I might not have enough space on my credit cards to pay for the I am about a £1000 short. Hopefully they can take it over two payments as there is a bit of space on the interest free one. Obviously once I get the money from the house sale all is fine then.
Anyway need to do some actual work.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks Savingholmes and Earthgirl having listened a bit more and read more there might still be a chance to at least apply. Worth a go as the form is not too long. More questions to ask and no need to do anything yet. Speaking to my colleague soon I want to see what she thinks. I do not love the new role they are offering but it is not awful which does help a bit actually as I know I have made the right decision in moving. I am also meeting my manager today and it is going to be quite hard as I cannot really say a lot and I definitely do not want to tell her I am moving just yet. Our individual conversations are not until the week we move so I feel that is deadline for saying something and applying for VA.
Got a new project at work that could be quite interesting. I might require some travel which I am not sure how I would manage with all that is going on. Anyway let's wait and see.
I sold something on Ebay yesterday will I accepted a reduction in price and then the person has not paid yet. Anyway DG sold something and they have paid it was once of the things listed last time and she got £50 so not too bad. Did some more research into the candle stick and it could be worth a fair bit of money so asked someone to value it and see if we can then sell it to them maybe. The value of the silver alone is £106 so glad we did not sell it for £60 which is what we had it on buy it now for.
Did not make gym again last night but it was good to just chill and go in the hot tub. I will miss it but I will not rush out and buy a new one in Denmark. I want to get the layout of the garden sorted first DG disagree but I am going to take my time especially if we buy the extra land.
Tonight we are going to start taking the boxes down from the loft and get the stuff we are taking in the car up there so nothing can be mixed up. So it now starts for real living with boxes but it isn't actually long now. It is my birthday on Friday but nothing planned as I just do not feel like any more partying and we can do some in Denmark that will be far nicer anyway.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning, ebay items posted yesterday lets hope there is no issue with them. Packed the box for VinterCashCow just waiting to see if a few more items do not sell then they can go in there. We did get some boxes down from the loft last night it does feel like there is still a lot but it is not all packed great so maybe there is a bit less than we think. There is just no where to stack everything so it has to go in the outside bar which is annoying but doing a bit at a time does help.
Got my free pattern from the knitting company and told I need 2 more yarns to complete the cardigan. The sleeve is really wide which I do not like so I am going to unravel what I have done and make it a smaller size. I do not think there will be enough yarn but at least I will wear it. Why is knitting so complicated??DG has booked a meal at a local pub we have wanted to go to for ages so that will be nice we are going by train so that's cool too all for my birthday.
DG has just gone to Lidl now this is bad for the diet but they have their free bakery spin back starting today. We do tend to just get the brownies and freeze them at least.
Paid the last of the sewerage bill and I can do the water Monday and also put in a polite request to have the Virgin fees waived. I did ask on the broadband thread on here and it was not very useful and a bit rude, why should you not pay it you signed up for it. Well we are all MSE or maybe they are not.
Got a few meetings today nothing about the redundancies thank god but I did find out that someone wants voluntary as well and they have not got it. However there might be away if I get matched to their role in which case I might also be able to apply. All a bit of a mess and taking time. Got a meeting now so best sign off I will update the to do list in a min. Looks ok but the pet passports are not happy with what they have so that is a concern.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks EarthGirl had a bit of a wobble with the work stuff as they made a major error on a document regarding my role but quickly corrected it again. I mean it was a fundamental mistake I just do not think they are on top of it. More meetings next week although I will miss one of them which actually is fine i am already bored with it.
So it is my birthday and I got loads of cards and DG is taking me out tonight plus lots of messages too. Even my BIL has been in touch well maybe he would now like to buy my share that would be amazing but I am not holding my breath.
I do have a quite a bit of work to get on with today so that is good but the pool man is coming today as well so might need to have a dip at lunchtime which would be really nice. I am going to give him a bottle of wine or some beers to say thank you for all his work. He has been amazing I will miss him.
