So the email has arrived and I think I have read it all. It is not good news as they are basically keeping my role and expanding it to 11 people but only 2 people incl me is matched to that role. I cannot see myself getting voluntary redundancy but I wonder if they can keep me a bit longer maybe as a contractor or something. Not really sure but it is a goodbye to the potential £15K I would have got. Shame but the money was never mine and if I can hang on a bit longer I might be more likely to get the consultancy roles which might work from abroad but might not. As DG says I do have the new job to start with her and we do need to ramp up the marketing very quickly. There is a big meeting about the roles tomorrow so will know more by then but I think it might be time to come clean quite soon in case I need to resign. Well at least I can come clean before I move which would be good.

So your work doesn't actually know about your planned move? Interesting times there then for sure, will they have to make others redundant?Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

Hoping to go to the gym tonight it is one of the last ones I can get to so would be nice but I am also feeling lazy. I did make sewing club last night and it was really nice to see everyone and I will miss them so much they are a nice bunch.
I was thinking last night that I might not have enough space on my credit cards to pay for the I am about a £1000 short. Hopefully they can take it over two payments as there is a bit of space on the interest free one. Obviously once I get the money from the house sale all is fine then.
Anyway need to do some actual work.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Sorry it doesn't look like the restructure will work out in your favour. You sound like you are motoring along with all your other preparations though.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Savingholmes and Earthgirl having listened a bit more and read more there might still be a chance to at least apply. Worth a go as the form is not too long. More questions to ask and no need to do anything yet. Speaking to my colleague soon I want to see what she thinks. I do not love the new role they are offering but it is not awful which does help a bit actually as I know I have made the right decision in moving. I am also meeting my manager today and it is going to be quite hard as I cannot really say a lot and I definitely do not want to tell her I am moving just yet. Our individual conversations are not until the week we move so I feel that is deadline for saying something and applying for VA.
Got a new project at work that could be quite interesting. I might require some travel which I am not sure how I would manage with all that is going on. Anyway let's wait and see.
I sold something on Ebay yesterday will I accepted a reduction in price and then the person has not paid yet. Anyway DG sold something and they have paid it was once of the things listed last time and she got £50 so not too bad. Did some more research into the candle stick and it could be worth a fair bit of money so asked someone to value it and see if we can then sell it to them maybe. The value of the silver alone is £106 so glad we did not sell it for £60 which is what we had it on buy it now for.
Did not make gym again last night but it was good to just chill and go in the hot tub. I will miss it but I will not rush out and buy a new one in Denmark. I want to get the layout of the garden sorted first DG disagree but I am going to take my time especially if we buy the extra land.
Tonight we are going to start taking the boxes down from the loft and get the stuff we are taking in the car up there so nothing can be mixed up. So it now starts for real living with boxes but it isn't actually long now. It is my birthday on Friday but nothing planned as I just do not feel like any more partying and we can do some in Denmark that will be far nicer anyway.Save £12k in 25 No 49
