Making good progress although not getting much work done. Dropped off in two different places all the charity donations and even managed to chase down the post man who we kept missing the parcel for. DG sent a huge file back to a client and I got rid of Vintagecashcow now we just wait I will let you know the value of it. I am hopeful it will be a bit as it has that 5 year old Apple laptop must be worth something. Did have lunch at town but only cost £13 then wasted £8 on icecreams which was naughty and they weren't even that good. Waste of money for sure but I blame DG.

Got the vetworks sorted for the boys tonight just need the boxes down from the loft for 5.30 tonight. We have also ordered a harness for them to see if they will take as it would make it easier for travelling and at the new house.

Replied to the Danish seller and we are speaking on Friday. She does not have a cat it is the neighbours but you can see it on the house advert so that is why we asked .She also met her partner at work 47 years ago but they did not move in together for another 20. She was declared cancer free so they decided to move and then they got 4 years before she passed. Really sad actually which is why you need to do these things while you can and live life to the full.

Tomorrow is the golf memorial tournament to our friend so day off for me. I have just noticed some urgent work I need to attend to so best do that.

    Post office done
    Put flyers out for neighbours

I know I've been AWOL for a while - but you've achieved so much in the last few months. Really hope you land a good redundancy package as you leave too. Good luck with the rest of your moving plans.

Morning, from a very busy TG but its all good we are getting there.

Monday we took the cats to get their rabies vaccination and sadly it was the following Monday which was annoying but they were so kind and fitted us in that night so that is all done now. £240 later but it needed doing.

Yesterday we played in the memorial game for our friend who we lost last year. It was a hot but very good day and it was a massive turn out with money raised for her cancer charity. Afterwards we sat with the widow outside and it turns out and old girl friend got back in touch with him a year to the date our friend died and they are now kind of in a long distance relationship. I think that is really sweet and he has known her since he was 11 years old. I had actually noticed he looked less broken the last couple of months so that could be why. Anyway got my niece and friend from the station they are chilling by the pool now they have had such a busy time since their exams so are just happy with that.

My main piece of work today has been postponed so that is actually good as it gives me more time.

We had the offer from Vintagecashcow it was £227 which is fine as I had no idea what any of it was really worth and it saves selling it ourselves. DG sold a sliver lighter and the buyer was not happy it had no hallmark. She had done that bit right but it asks if it matches another item sold and that said solid silver in the description so its gone back and she is now £3.70 out of pocket. I need to post a £2 coin I sold for £3.60 better than nothing but not sure it was worth it. I think I will do another box to vintagecashcow just before we leave.

Got a HelloFresh box delivered to make life easier with the girls here. We did not get an Asda delivery yesterday as we were out so this makes up a little bit. I will need to go to the shops later.

Ordered a harness for the cats and they are ok wearing it but it was the wrong size so ordered another 2 and a brush for the pool (£10) as it is impossible to keep clean otherwise. RIght must get some work done have a lovely hopefully sunny and hot day.

Started to stress about the party on Saturday especially the parking just hope people pop in at different times. It is lovely having my niece here. She is so like my sister mannerism and the way she speaks. Kind of makes me sad i never had a daughter. Her friend is only 17 so a bit shy. They are cooking our lunch today from Hello Fresh before going down to an outlet shopping area by train. She booked the tickets herself using trainline she is so grown up now.

I was really busy yesterday but today is not too bad apart from this afternoon where we have a meeting to learn how to use the new website.

Sent off the harness and already got the refund my goodness I am going to miss Amaz*n when we move big time. We took the bottles to the bottlebank first thing and got cash for the cleaner which DG forgot last week when I was away. I will miss her too she is just the best there is so good better than I can do myself I would say. Need to post an item on Ebay at the post office I must have made a mistake and not clicked the simple postage option so post office it is which is a pain. DG got a box to send off some videos to be sent off. It has to go to the post office so coin can be sent.

Just getting the paperwork sorted out for the pet passport now so they can go to their appointment next week. Obviously we have Stitches operations too.

Chucked a load of frozen food out we won't eat before we go and cleared our fridges as well before I go shopping for cheese at 11.30 today. We will need to get stuff from Lidl and then breadsticks on Saturday morning to be fresh.

We have also spoken to the lady we bought the house off and she was really nice. We learnt a few things and she was fine at speaking in English so that was a non issue. She is taking everything as they left everything 4 years ago so it is all quite new. Sounds like the shed is rubbish but if we buy the other land we should be able to build something there instead. We will need to cut the hedges as she is unable to do it before she leaves. We can get someone in to do it so that is fine I do not want to try and do that for sure. Also we cannot plant trees in 1/2 the garden due to the heat pump pipes. This is a new type of heating for me so I best get used to it. I think we might install solar panels as it would then be a really cheap house to run.

We got a number to call to have the internet reconnected so that sounds good. My head is just overflowing and I am struggling to sleep. I think once the party is over I will have more headspace. I kind of wish we had never done the party its 55 so far but throughout the day and some people are just dropping in. So hard to cater for but my friend will at least help me or we will be eating cheese for weeks and weeks lol. Not good for the diet.

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
