Sorry but I need to rant, we heard nothing yesterday after the deadline had passed so we had to chase our adviser who is obviously on already on the bank holiday. She comes back with the Danish estate agent has said we had not signed the documents (which we had) and that the other buyers needed until Monday. I am just so angry he gave us 24 hours to give an offer in that was from Tues to Weds and now there so called others gets until Monday to put in an offer. I still 100% do not believe there are other offers but that it is the heirs that are fighting. We have now signed again and said we are withdrawing the offer by Monday noon if the other side do not sign aka complete. 

So here we are waiting again and I cannot do any of my to do list. I do have a hair cut today and was meant to give the painter a lift up here but he has not been in touch so I give up on him really. We might be able to get DGs uncle to do it for us instead. 

Right off to do some work before I have to leave. Have a lovely Friday.

Still no news so fed up now turns out it is not a bank holiday today so the adviser has come back to us and she thinks we will get an answer before Monday. Well Denmark always finish early on a Friday so I do not think so by this time. I have asked for a meeting with our adviser Monday and we can go from there but we will be withdrawing our offer if they have not signed. If they do sign we will have exchanged in effect but lets see what happens. Sorry to bore people with this saga but my god it is the most stressful house I have ever bought and I even had an advice on hard.

Drum Roll - we have news!!

WE HAVE EXCHANGED FINALLY !!!

Got a message late last night that they had signed so now the process finally begins of moving money and getting it all set up. They have 6 days to pull out but they will pay us 1% of the asking price if they do so unlikely. We can do the same but no thanks I am now committed. 

I need to dig out the list I made so I can start doing all the bits. We can complete 15/8 so I think it would make more sense for us to move out of the UK at the Aug Bank Holiday it gives us a bit more time just in case something needs doing to the new house. I know it is still 3 months away but hopefully our buyers and buyers buyers will be patient with us. Remember she is having a caesarean at the end of July so might even suit them better.  

Anyway enough house stuff other exciting news I put 5 things on Vinted yesterday and 3 have sold already and I have packed them up making sure they are not mixed up. I have also had a lot of interest in another item so that is all good. It only makes £7.50 but it is out of the house. 

DG was feeling sick all Sunday so did not get a lot done other than organising all our tools and DIY stuff into two boxes and I decluttered an old box of stuff from my prev life I have not touched since I moved here. Took it too the tip with the empty bottles so that is one job done. 

Saturday we played in a comp. DG in a separate team from me and guess what I won. I came first and got cut by 1.5 points for my HCP so I am now 22.5. I only won £18 but I get my name on the trophy so that is so nice. It was a lovely sunny day so that was a massive bonus as well. 

I am quite pleased with the weekend actually so now it is off to find my to do list and get cracking with the money side. Once we have a set completion date for here we can really start planning incl getting the cats sorted. Scary but also be exciting. 

1. Contact Danish bank get that ball rolling (he is back today after leave) but I need the signed agreement first)
2. Get my S&S cashed in, calling the rubbish finance company who I can now finally part with (happy dance that is) 
3. Get my Premium Bonds cashed in after the draw tomorrow and move to new account in DK when ready
4. Withdraw my cash ISA and move to new Danish Account. (might not need to do this because of Bank of Mon)
5. Get my mum to move the deposit over now which is about £9K
6. Get my mum to transfer what is left over to meet the asking price plus any taxes and fees I am not sure about.

Quick update:
Spoken to Skoda cancelled my service plan they were not going to refund my MOT I did not have but have now as a goodwill gesture. £50.41 in my pocket it really does pay to ask.

I have met with the guy to do the quote for the move. They sounded really good surprise is that it takes about 7 days to get it over there but we think we can stay in the house and camp out but we also have my sisters house that way we can be there when the furniture arrives and won't have to stay with our friend. 

And our pay offer has been agreed backdated to April so a bit more in the bank from June. 

On the To Do list:

1. Contact Danish bank get that ball rolling being done takes 3-4 days
2. Get my S&S cashed in, calling the rubbish finance company who I can now finally part with (happy dance that is) sent message
3. Get my Premium Bonds cashed in after the draw tomorrow and move to new account in DK when ready
4. Withdraw my cash ISA and move to new Danish Account. (might not need to do this because of Bank of Mon)
5. Get my mum to move the deposit over now which is about £9K - need to check if it is the right bank account but she is ready with cash
6. Get my mum to transfer what is left over to meet the asking price plus any taxes and fees I am not sure about. She is aware but wants to wait as long as possible to sell her investments.

Thanks catclaires and Mrs_Money_Penny it is a relief to know we have a place to go now and yes I would like to keep it going even if there wont be a lot of MSE stuff as I wont be able to take advantage of the offers etc in the email but I am sure I can come up with other money saving stuff. I will be doing my garden and house cheaply thanks to the over asking we had to pay lol. 

In Premium Bond news I won 2 x £100 that was a nice surprise so I can now get those out and into my bank account ready to transfer. 

I had a message my new Danish Account is already ready and I can log onto online banking. They sure are quick in Denmark I must say. 

Removal company came yesterday they do their own work and does not subcontract. They were more thorough than the last lot so we shall see. I quite liked them and I got an idea of dates and how it works with rest days etc. Basically they pack on say a Thursday then you can still stay in the house overnight as they pack the lorry the on the Friday then they have to wait over the weekend as they cannot drive Sundays. They then take 3 days to get to Denmark so we will have the stuff on a Wednesday. Our buyers cannot move at the Bank Holiday so looks like our move will start 13th Aug and we can then drive off on the Friday.

2. Get my S&S cashed in, calling the rubbish finance company who I can now finally part with (happy dance that is) sent message
3. Cash out Premium Bonds
4. Withdraw my cash ISA and move to new Danish Account. (might not need to do this because of Bank of Mom)
5. Get my mum to move the deposit over now which is about £9K got account but does not need to be done until 19/6
6. Get my mum to transfer what is left over to meet the asking price plus any taxes and fees I am not sure about. She is aware but wants to wait as long as possible to sell her investments. 
7. Await quote for removal and book date
8. Make a massive list for everything regarding the move.
