All sounds like forward progress! That s&s isa deal sound interesting ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks for all the messages vandaFC, Mrs_Money_Penny, earthgirl2 and LWAP really nice of you. I feel such peace now knowing it is all moving forward and we have done more planning of the house we have not even seen yet. A bit insane yes I know but it just feels right so we are going with it.
Yesterday we had a really nice day with my work mate and her puppy. OMG she is so cute 6 months and this bundle of black fluff. She was really well behaved and so much fun. Really makes you want a doggy maybe not a puppy though as they have to get up at 6am to take her to the garden. The picnic in the camper was really good too it would have been far too cold to sit outside anyway so perfect really and the food we had both chosen was just so nice.
I did also make my sewing club and started making a bag which I really struggled with. Although it was fun to do it as a group I was just so useless it was a waste of time. I did get some unpicking done on my other project so I think I will stick with that. I really hope I can set up a sewing group in my new home.
In Money related news DG applied for a 0% credit card to pay for the golf club membership I do really hope she gets it as it would mean we have 6 free tickets for friends to play with us. We need to pay before the end of April but she did not get approved straight away I think because she is self employed. Lets see what happens.
Finally yes that referral offer for the S&S ISA is a bit odd but £100 for the other person is quite tempting too. Earthgirl let me know if you work out how it works. In investment news it is still looking a bit grim I am glad I moved out of that higher risk fund as it does look like the US is being hammered.
Today I have the day off as I am going to play golf so that is nice to stretch the Easter a bit longer. Slight hick up we have an ASDA delivery while we are out and it has ice in it so not idea. We are going to see if our new neighbour can take it in the ones who use our drive seems a fair swap.

Morning back at work after having yesterday off as well. Just waiting for my manager to come into the call but looks like she is running late.
Nice day playing golf yesterday and I actually won my match although it was just for fun I still got a bag of chocolate. DG did enjoy herself as well with the golf. We did go to bed early I was just shattered but broken sleep due to my hips hurting really not great.
This week is just work now and DG is away Thursday to Friday with her part time job. No news on the house front I am not going to chase it today but I would expect our Danish Lawyers to get back to us. I do also need to get the guy to come and fix the worst cracks so they do not show on the survey. Other than that it is all moving forward.
DG got approved for her credit card so the golf club membership will go on there. It will be a bit tight to get it but fingers crossed it works out so we get the 6 free rounds.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Sorry to hear your hips are hurting - I find unless i stretch daily (or indeed after exercise as I always stretch after that) that my sciatica plays up. However the day after stretching my pain is non existent
Maybe add some daily gentle stretches to see if that helps?
Well done on the golf win.
I have done that £100 invest ISA - inspired by you - how long did it take for the £50 to be credited?
I also note my CHIP cash isa has an offer for invest £100 into S&S ISA for £25 cash or gift card which I will doDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

I do think I need to stretch more LWAP my hips are better on a Tuesday after gym but did not go yesterday as I was at golf instead.
I got my £50 immediately and have just moved it over my ISA and invested it. I chose a gold fund it it already a couple of pounds up. I do not have CHIP but interesting that they offer it too.
My ISA is still down about £14K now from it highest but £10K from when I wanted to pull it so that is the figure I am going with. Just about to have my final 2 meetings of the day and looking at my diary next week I am at work 1 day and the week after 4 days but all good hopefully get time to do everything.Save £12k in 25 No 49

ALmost afternoon had a few meetings and DG got up at 4am to go to the part time job. Well she did not have to leave until 6am but she could not sleep.
Looking at our diaries last night we realised how much we have crammed in. Then this morning our Saturday plans got postponed which was a relief actually. Now its Sunday golf and then off to look for Dgs aunt that afternoon, day off Monday. DG now wants to cancel the hotel stay but it was a voucher from Tesco and it has expired so if we move it we lose the money and only get the £17.50 back we had paid. I could do with the time back at work but also would be good to look for DGs aunt. She has done an email which might help so we shall see we can cancel right up to 6pm on Saturday so that is handy. I have wasting money even if it was only £40 of Tesco vouchers it is still a fair amount but so is peace and quiet in a hectic time.
Anyway no news from Danish lawyers so I have chased them I got a bit fed up. Got renewal for gas service and because we have claimed twice on the policy it has gone up £100. Well that can get cancelled now we are moving and turns out there was a service due before it expires so I have booked that then I will cancel by 20th May.
Other than that just plodding along with work etc.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just booked my MOT could only get an appointment the day it expires well apparently it is because of all the March cars. Well that is annoying when I have a service plan so we now have to come straight home from the airport and get it down there. Lets hope our flight isn't too delayed! Plan can be cancelled once I have done the MOT.
Also forgot to say in MSE news we got our two freebies from Lidl last night potatos and a sauce a few pennies saved and useful stuff.
Still nothing from Danish lawyers but estate agent I am going to see the lake house with has suggested I see another property close to the one with the pushy sellers. I am not sure it has all been done up and layout is about right but no 4th bedroom and smaller garden. It is a bungalow but it does have quite a cool room in the eves. It is 23 min walk to the centre of town which is a massive plus.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning did not sleep well again so annoying but could also be because DG is away.
I do get like this when there is too much going on so now that our Saturday game with friends is cancelled we are just playing 9 here and doing some decluttering. Then Sunday another game at our club and a tip run at 5pm and hotel cancelled and leave for Monday.
It was crazy to go and try and find DGs aunt it would have cost in petrol and food etc and I am going away soon plus we have Turkey soon too. Annoying to lose £80 of Hotel.com vouchers or £40 Tesco vouchers but it is what it is.
Danish lawyers have been in touch she is doing a report for us on the new house so she will read all the reports etc and give her opinion. Will be good to read but the two houses which are the same age the reports are so different. I am undecided if I want to see the one that is 23 min walk from town. It has been for sale (wait for it) for 3 years!! It has just had its price dropped by 1% maybe that is why he was trying to get me to view it. In the UK that woulda massive red flag 3 years.
Anyway spendwise I have been paid, bought a couple of pairs of trousers for DG and a top as I am fed up with her nicking mine. I got them off Vinted and used my credit on there so no spend actually. Our website has been updated I am going to have a look now. Still a lot to do.
