Morning all. I’m shattered this morning, travelling is so tiring. Glad I booked Monday off work.No cava and smoked salmon for breakfast this morning 🤣Plan for today is take the dog on the park, do some litter picking and then go to Lid! for a few bits. I had an email offering me a free weekend Mr M delivery slot so have brought forward Tuesday’s delivery to Sunday so I’ll need to have a good think about what we need. After that will need to unpack the cases and clean up a bit. The garden will need a bit of a tidy too. I only cut the grass a few days ago - it’s grown so much with all the rain.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Managed to get a fair bit done today. Took the dog on the park and litter picked but there was a football match on so we were confined to the bottom end. After that went to Lid!. Claimed a free orange juice from last month’s app freebies which Mr SA will enjoy. He now has a free sweet bakery treat to enjoy.Suitcases have been emptied. Holiday clothes washed. Putting dried clothes back in not needed until Lanzarote.I wasn’t really that prepared for the free electricity hour today but managed to charge up my watch, iPad, Mr SA’s scooter, do a load of washing and ironing so not too shabby. Tomorrow it’s 2 hours so will be better prepared.Mr SA has retrieved a sunbed with cushion from a skip on his travels with the dog. It’s a really old fashioned one although in excellent condition. He seems to think he can utilise it but it’s really low and I don’t see how he’s going to be able to get back up off it once he’s on it despite him claiming he can. He’s now thinking about taking it back 😬Enjoyed a couple of hours in my hanging chair this afternoon and finished my current book.Picked some strawberries and blackberries from the garden that seem to be having a second wind. Used them for my overnight oats.Tonight’s dinner was veggie burger from freezer stocks with salad and wedges. Tomatoes courtesy of the greenhouse.Plans for tomorrow are giving the kitchen and bathroom a good clean as DD is back at work. Plus some garden tidying. Everything seems to have gone leggy. Also must plant the grasses I bought a couple of weeks ago. I have a couple of pots earmarked for them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Nice of Mr SA to get the dog a sunbed! Could he be encouraged to list it for a few quid to keep him occupied and feeling useful?https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

We have some last minute strawberries making an appearance as well. Can't believe it, so late in the year. Also found another bag of blackberries on our walk, very surprised at that as well, as most of them look like they are done for this year.Making the debt go down and savings go up

That’s Sunday done. So glad I booked tomorrow off work, definitely not ready to go back yet.Mr M delivery arrived this morning then took the dog on the park. A bit more litter picking done.Used the 2 hour free electricity to charge up the vacuum battery, lawn mower battery, iPad, phone, watch and Mr SA’s scooter. Did a load of washing, cooked lunch, roasted a butternut squash then turned it into squash, apple and ginger soup in the soup maker. Also vacuumed everywhere with the plug in vacuum, seems ages since I last used it.After that did some garden tidying and cut the grass which was much needed. It looks a lot better now.Didn’t get around to cleaning the kitchen and bathroom although the kitchen gets cleaned every day. Job for tomorrow.Missed the phone alert as was at the bottom of the garden. I thought I would hear it via collective phones in the area but didn’t.Managed an hour in my hanging chair with my book.Tonight’s dinner was air fried salmon with air fried potatoes and steamed vegetables. The potatoes Lid! have on offer at the moment are super tasty, can recommend 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
