Well that’s my leave from work over 😭 Back to the grindstone tomorrow.I’ve had a pottering about getting stuff done day. Both freezers have been audited and contents listed that I will no doubt forget to keep up to date. I really need to use up some of the bread based items, in fact meal plans will have to revolve around the contents until stocks have gone down.Did my usual Monday finance check and cc balance has been paid off. Still a few things pending but they’ll probably be cleared ready to pay off by Wednesday’s mid week check. It’s the final week of the 4 week budget period and it’s looking good for a decent underspend. NSD 2 of September, aiming for minimum of 8 this month.Housework wise got a load of washing dry and ironed and cleaned the bathroom. All holiday stuff and suitcases have been put away.Managed an hour in my hanging chair reading which was lovely.Today’s exercise has been dog walking this morning, generally pottering about for most of the day and it’s strength training later.Tonight’s dinner is a portion of butternut squash dhal with a mini naan bread both from freezer stocks. On the potato sprouting front, I’ve noticed they seem to sprout quickly at the moment. I wonder if it’s to do with all the warm weather we’ve had. The only ones that haven’t sprouted are the organic ones from the veg box. I’ve started keeping them in a dark cool cupboard now to see if that makes a difference.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Ugh, ugh and once more ugh back to work today 😒
Worked in the office this morning but had had enough by 10.30 so came back home. The office was very busy and so noisy I was struggling to concentrate. So glad I'm not due back in the office until Friday.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. Picked up a free millionaire's shortbread for Mr SA that he ate almost immediately.
Free coffee picked up on the way to work.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work just short of 17,000 steps and it's resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie lasagne from freezer stocks with salad.
My veggie box arrived this morning, not had time to look at it properly yet. I had the small box again as it's the only one that doesn't have potatoes in it and it's mostly me eating the contents.

That Millionaires Shortbread sounds nice, think I would have scoffed it straight away too!
This has reminded me of something that happened today that made me cross but I won't take up your diary with it, will go and have a wee rant on my own diary!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Morning all.
WFH today thank goodness. Had my nice slow start to the day reading with a coffee, doing a few Spanish lessons and my usual live yoga class.
Mid-week finance check done and cc balance paid off.
Work is going to be super busy from later this morning as apparently I have several hours work heading my way involving spreadsheets that needs to be completed by Friday. Just what I need on my first week back and it being Wednesday already!! Will find out later what it entails.
Today's exercise is the yoga just done, dog walking later this morning and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is stir fry with air fried tofu. This will use up several bits of veg lurking in the fridge.

What are you doing with the tofu before it goes in the air fryer. I would like to eat tofu but need to find a nice way to do it...it is high in both protein and calcium so good, but I can never make it tasty.
Glad you are WFH will make the business easierIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
