Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime and WFH this afternoon. This week will be grim as it's my first full working week since April. This is my first week trialling working in the office Monday/Tuesday/Friday instead of Monday/Wednesday/Friday. It will work out better for my exercise classes, got to get my priorities right 😆
Free coffee picked up on the way to work.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and picked up the free strawberries. Spent less than £5 altogether. I'm going to take the lanterns back to Aldi later, hopefully I'll be able to swap them for ones with solar panels if they're still in stock.
Dropped off another bag of Mr SA's old clothes for recycling in Primani. I can only manage to carry a few bits at a time so it will take a few days to get rid of them all. His wardrobe is so much tidier now and it's making him wear things he'd forgotten about as it was so crammed before.
Today's exercise is lots of steps to/from work and then to/from Aldi. Looking forward to a nice soak in the bath later.
Tonight's dinner is the final portion of veggie lasagne from freezer stocks with salad.
All the regular savers have now been fed and another £150 overpayment has gone to the mortgage. The mortgage will be under £2k next month.

Hope Al's is able to exchange them. I saw some pretty crystal-style ones in £land recently for 1.50 each if you have one near you, I had the previous incarnation of them and they lasted really well
Great that Mr SA is enjoying his wardrobe
That's so close to paying off the mortgage! How are you feeling about it?3 -

Whooo! Nearly 'Bye-bye mortgage' time. I think the building society statement confirming we'd paid ours off was one of the best pieces of home paperwork I've ever filed!

So much to catch up on.
Woohoo to the holiday. That,s something to look forward too.
Hope DD's surgery goes well on Friday.
So close to getting that mortgage paid off now. Well done. Can't wait until ours is over. 5 years 11 months and counting2 -

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime and came back home to finish my day. Nice to think I don't have to go back in the office until Friday now.
Ended up catching the bus this morning as it was pouring with rain and also very windy. Got fed up of battling with my umbrella. I caught the timing just right as there were only 4 of us on the bus and it didn't stop again after I got on so we sailed into the city centre in no time. It doesn't really save me that much time as I don't live near the bus stop and work is nowhere near the city centre bus stop so there was still just over 5,000 steps involved as opposed to the just under 8,000. Walked home so I'm slightly short of 15,000 at the moment.
Dropped off another bag of clothes for recycling at Primani. Also picked up a lucky dip for tonight's Euromillions which I never usually do but a work friend suggested we have a little syndicate for tonight's game which prompted me to buy one for Mr SA and I too. So I have 8 chances of winning something tonight.
Got a message from the pet insurance last night to say they'd received my claim via the vet. That took long enough to arrive! The vets must upload them in a job lot, they had a massive list when I added my details to their claims sheet.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, picked up some free bananas from the fruit spinning wheel and a couple of things I forgot to get yesterday. I now have a free avocado and a free sweet treat to pick up 😆

Forgot to say I managed to exchange the lanterns last night. I struggled to find replacements with solar panels as nearly all the lanterns on the shelf were without. I mentioned this to the cashier and warned her to expect more returns. She said she’d get someone to sort them out.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Happy hump day.
WFH today. The day hasn't got off to a good start as the Mr M delivery was 30 minutes late the reason being as the van turned a corner the door flew open, some of my shopping fell out and contents were smashed. It turned out to be the bag that had my wine and Mr SA's bottles of beer in! Isn't that just typical! I've managed to get another order for the missing items to be redelivered tomorrow as the bag also contained dog food and a couple of other things 😐
Just managed to join my live yoga class on time and was enjoying the lovely stretching exercises when the wi-fi dropped out so I had to reset the router and by the time I was back online the class had finished 😐 Fortunately I only missed the last 5 minutes or so.
Despite having 8 chances to win something on the Euromillions last night didn't win anything.
Oh well the day can only get better.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
