The interest rates on the regular savers are pretty good at the moment so might as well make the most of them while I can. I like them as it makes me save money, I've had at least one on the go for several years now.
I've had the all clear from the mammogram I had last week. When the letter arrived I will admit I was a bit apprehensive as they said 2 weeks for the results and with it being less than a week my heart sunk. So that's that done for another 3 years.
The weather has been back to wet and dull again today but managed to get out for a dog walk this morning. I have a Zumba class at 6pm so that should boost my step count. I'll be happy with somewhere between 10-15k today.
More money dealings in that I've crossed off 6 days of 1p saver boxes so that will take me up until next Tuesday. Plus not spent anything today.
Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted yellowfin sole with steamed veg. I picked the last of the purple sprouting broccoli from the garden yesterday so will have some of that too.

I've been thinking of a regular saver: I have the YBS Christmas one but at the moment I can afford to put more away than that will allow, and it won't always be so, so it makes sense.
Good news on the mammogram.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Good news on the mammogram.
My DIL (who is under 40) has just been told her breast lumps, which were found by mammogram, are cancerous and widespread, so specialist advised full mastectomy. Devastated for her. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4 -

Happy Good Friday 🐣
Have been busy today, got up early and went to the big Mr T. Took advantage of the cheap veg and half price beef joints, got two for Mr SA, will cut them up and freeze them.
Attended a virtual WW workshop and lunchtime live cook along. After lunch did lots of gardening in the beautiful warm sunshine. Mr SA just sat there annoyingly pointing his walking stick at weeds I’d missed 😬
Sat in the garden quietly reading my book until the dog started hassling me with her ball. Then Mr SA appeared so gave up.I’ve done over 16,000 steps so far with the walking to/from Mr T and the gardening. Functional fitness at its finest 😆
Tonight’s dinner is smoked basa on a bed of lemon and leek rice. The youngest cat is 2 today. I still think of her as being a kitten.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
