Well the first proper day of the holiday and all is not going to plan 😞 The weather is fantastic, hot and sunny not a cloud in the sky. However on the way back from our morning’s coffee and walk on the seafront Mr SA’s scooter kept cutting out on the hill leading up to our accommodation. I ended up pushing him and the scooter up a steep hill in 28 degrees heat. I phoned the scooter hire place and apparently it’s grandfather’s day here and the owner is out. From what I could gather they’re replacing the scooter with a more powerful one at some stage today but we don’t know when. So all plans for today are up in the air and it looks like I’ll have to fetch something from the supermarket for lunch rather than eating out. Hopefully we’ll get out tonight 🤞 We could get a taxi if need be. There’s no snack bar at our apartments or a restaurant within Mr SA walking distance unfortunately.

Hope you can get a more powerful scooter v soon.
It is really chilly in our neck of the woods today. Our thermostat has been reduced to 17° but it's still been cold enough to trigger the central heating 3 times this morning. So enjoy the sunshine while you can!
