You will need to keep Mr SA away from the desk at check in …… do they still ask if anyone has asked you to carry something for them 😄😄3

You’ve all got me wondering about the charger now 🤣 I will definitely be taking it out of the box to check it when it arrives. Mr SA has been warned about mentioning it at check in. We have the text from the scooter hire place as proof just in case. It’s reminded me of one year we hired a villa for 2 weeks in Lanzarote and filled a huge storage box with food that was hard to source or very expensive over there. The bag ended up overweight but they didn’t say anything. We had enough food in there to last for a good few days but later found out some of the things we shouldn’t have been taking into the country like dairy 😬
Also reminded me of one time we went to France and Mr SA only had a flipping Swiss Army knife in his hand luggage 😳 It was confiscated by French security but the fact was it had passed UK security on the way there! I was so annoyed with him, I had no idea he’d brought it. And this was pre brain damage days!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Customs seems to like me - I've been stopped so often! One time the scanner picked up something and I realised I'd bought a needle to sew up my knitting the week before and it was still in my purse as I'd put it there rather than lose it in a shopping bag. I offered to surrender it but once they'd seen it, they weren't bothered.
But why a Swiss Army knife?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning all, happy Friday!
Working in the office today, it's super quiet you could hear a pin drop. I'm sitting all on my own on a bank of 10 empty desks. I can only see about 5 people in the immediate area. I'm finishing at 1pm and need to catch a bus to the vets to pick up the young cat's flea treatment. Then I need to drop off my work bag at home before going to the hairdressers.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work - that's all today, no extras.
Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted lemon sole with swede chips and lots of veg. Need to concentrate on using up all the fresh stuff in the fridge as DD won't eat it and I don't want to throw it out. I usually spend the day before we go on holiday roasting veg and freezing it!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Well that’s me finally finished for just over 2 weeks. Picked up the cat’s flea stuff and had time to come home and drop my work things off before going to the hairdressers. The scooter charging cable arrived via Amazon so definitely not dodgy 😆 It’s tiny and as light as a feather so won’t take up any room in the case.Had to stop Mr SA packing two scruffy T-shirts. It’s always a nightmare having to check what he’s packed, he takes way too much stuff that doesn’t get worn. He’s just had a load of new T-shirts so why he wanted to take these I don’t know 🙄
In money news DD has been paid and paid her board so that’s gone in the holiday pot.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Happy Saturday 🥂
First job of the day was to clean up cat sick 🤢 Hopefully the day will improve.
I need to go to the big Mr T this morning. The rest of the day will be a mix of cleaning and gardening I think. Two loads of washing have been done.
Tonight is pizza night and I have pink Prosecco in the fridge already.I have a live ClubFit session in 15 minutes so better get my gym gear on…I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
