Oh no! Not the highlights pulled through the cap! I remember that too in the 80s! Until I managed to save up and have them done in foil! The other 80s thing I remember was that stuff called 'Sun In' I think, that you would spray on your hair. Supposed to give you wonderful golden highlights. More like wonderful golden strawlights!😆. Got quite a bit done today, the weather has been quite nice with a good amount of sun so the washing dried and I planted the ornamental grasses. The young cat was running around with what looked like a dead chick in her mouth and I couldn’t grab her 🙁 She’s a little so and so at the moment for hunting.I booked the taxis so that’s another thing ticked off the list. I was talking to a neighbour who’s going away on Saturday and interestingly he’s paying £5 more than us for his. I booked mine online and he booked over the phone. He only lives a stone’s throw from us.I packed the toiletries and identified a few bits we needed mainly bite cream, cold sore cream, stomach settlers and painkillers all for Mr SA as he will need them by day 2 you can guarantee. The mosquitoes will already be waiting for him at the airport 😆 Went out and picked them up locally so that’s done. Mr SA is doing my head in as he keeps coming up with random things he thinks I might’ve forgotten to pack 🙄
Going to have a bath now and let the dog get in after me so she’s clean ready for her flea treatment tomorrow. I’ve already done the young cat so she’s run off. Just need to grab the older cat.DD has promised to water the greenhouse plants while we’re away. I’ll give them a good feed and water Tuesday night. So much to remember to do!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Well, @Sun_Addict, if you haven't got at least 14 lipsyls in that suitcase, I for one am going to be very disappointed!

Happy belated birthday to you 🎂
Your train trip sounded horrendous. A relative of mine got off a train in his wheelchair…..he is able to bounce up and down the single steps unaided…..only to find the only way off the station was over the bridge with a flight of stairs on each side 😡😡 He had to wait for a train to the next station where he could get off and get a taxi to a meeting he was going to. This meeting had various managers from councils from around the country. Complaints were made by various hierarchy on his behalf but it didn’t achieve much 😡😡 The railway system needs a big shake up.
Have a lovely holiday 🥂January spends - £587.584 -
Not a happy bunny this morning as Mr SA has created extra cleaning jobs for me overnight 🙁 The bedding has been stripped, I’ve attempted to clean the hall carpet but still need to give the bathroom a good clean. He was doing so well too. He’s stressed about the holiday for some reason.Anyway that aside today’s plans are:
Clean bathroom, bedroom and hall
Washing/ironing
Take the dog out
Finalise Mr M order
Spanish lessons
Pack my clothes, jewellery and makeup
Remove gel polish from nails ready for tomorrow
Pedicure and paint toes Santorini Blue
Deflea dog and older cat
Monday finance check
Put garden waste bin out
Mow lawns
Cash out surveys
Tonight’s dinner is a stir fry to use up some veg.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Oh poor you, what a start to the day.
I wonder if the extra stress is because of the difficulties he had mobilising recently? He might be associating going away with getting stuck.
