Morning all, happy Thursday.WFH today thank goodness as I’m shattered. We had a short power cut locally just before 5am and the electricity came back on with such a thud I had to get up to investigate. Thought I might as well stay up as I’d be up at that time anyway if I was in the office today. I’ve read a few chapters of my book and gradually come to with a coffee.I could do with going to Lid! at some point today, I won’t be passing it on the way home tomorrow as I need to get the bus straight from work to the vets to pick up the young cat’s flea treatment.Today’s exercise will be walking to/from Lid!, a lunchtime tone & stretch session and Zumba at 7pm.Tonight’s dinner is a portion of veggie lasagne from the freezer with salad.Right I’d better get a shower and tidy round ready to log on at 7am. Last full working day for a couple of weeks 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I queried the April holiday I thought I'd booked with Jet2 on Friday night but didn't receive confirmation for as the £120 had gone through on the cc. I did the chat via What's App. Anyway I now have the booking confirmation so we are going after all and we got the last ground floor room. Currently in the process of booking the special assistance while I've got hold of someone in the chat so that's another thing sorted.
The place where we've hired the scooter from for Mr SA in Zante have sent a message asking if we would be willing to bring over a scooter charger for them if they send it to our house as they desperately need one and they can't buy them over there. Mr SA is carrying on as if they've asked us to bring drugs over! It's only 10cm x 15cm so won't take up much room in the case.
In other scooter news, the steering on Mr SA's scooter is off so that's got to be looked at.
I went to Lid! this morning and have stocked up with cat food as the cats have gone off their branded one. Also bought some ornamental grasses I was looking at in the garden centre yesterday £4.99 each, the same ones were £23.99 in the garden centre and not that much bigger.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I was looking at the plants this morning too. I am not a gardener and our front garden currently has very little in it. I did wonder if I should get someMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Yay - another holiday to look forward to!
I think you need a screenshot of the request so as to absolve you of all blame! How heavy is the scooter charger? Will it affect the weight of your luggage significantly?
I think I need to do some holiday research while you have me in anticipatory holiday mode.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I don't think the charger will be very heavy as it's so small, it's arriving here tomorrow so will find out. We have 22kg each for hold luggage and our cases never weigh anywhere near that. Mr SA has been really stressed about it and thinks it means he won't have a scooter to use if we don't take it. I don't think he really understands what's happening. Now he knows we're taking the charger he says he can enjoy his holiday. I can't seem to get through to him that if we had said no to bringing the charger he would still have had a scooter it's just that they need a new charger and they can't source them in Zante. We have no doubt saved them on postage and waiting times. They are very grateful anyway.

The cauliflower dish looks tasty and the flowers are beautiful
Lovely to have another holiday booked before you have been on this one. That's the best way to do it.
I'm sure Mr SA will check the charger for anything illegal before he puts it in his bag....lolMaking the debt go down and savings go up
