One of the jobs on my list for today is to give the furries their worming treatment. No problem with the dog, the older cat is nowhere to be seen, I managed to get the young cat, although was scratched to bits. Now she’s sulking, look at that angry face 🤣

Our cat has to have a tablet every other day. I bought a syringe for pet tablet giving off ebay. Pull the plunger out (so a good jet of air sends the pill to  the back of her throat, wrap cat in blanket, hold cat by the back of the neck, use the syringe to gently prise her mouth open at the side, press the plunger down and bingo, tablet delivered and swallowed. I got fed up of being bitten so this is now the chosen method (for me anyway, the cat doesn't think any method is acceptable).

The vet gave me a syringe for my older cat when she needed antibiotics. Thankfully the wormers are back of the neck jobs. The dog’s is a tablet but I just coat it in dog peanut butter and it goes down fine.

Got everything on my list done apart from painting my toe nails. The vegan moussaka took quite a bit of time to cook but it’s lovely so worth it. 

Got loads of gardening done this morning and the garden waste bin is full to the brim. Shame they’re not collecting it until a week on Tuesday. 

Cleaned the whole house after lunch including steam mopping all the floors. 

Lots of ironing as all the washing dried. 

Looking forward to putting my feet up when I’ve cleared away the dinner pots. It won’t be a late night that’s for sure - not that it ever is 🤣

That's Monday done.

Worked in the office this morning then did this afternoon from home.

Not a NSD as I went to MnS on the way home to have a look at the sale. Everything I bought Mr SA the other week is now in the sale 🙁 I picked him up another pair of canvas shoes and some t-shirts for holiday. I couldn't see anything for myself, all the women's stuff seems to be huge and long. Mr SA is overjoyed with his unexpected bounty!

I've booked Friday off work for a secret shopping day! I want to go to the local-ish area a bus ride away that has the big selection of shops. I was going to go on Saturday but that would mean Mr SA wanting to tag along or me coming up with an excuse where I was so I thought why not book Friday off and let him think I'm at work - genius 😁 

Have counted up today and I only have another 12 working days until Zante. Happy days!

Today's exercise is walking to/from work and a bonus live bums & tums session tonight on the WW app. I'm really looking forward to this extra exercise session - I need to get out more don't I 😆

Budget spreadsheet has been updated and last week's cc balance paid off. All looking fine as I start week 3 of the 4 week budget period. In other money news the £125 maximum has been sent to the Principality RS.

I bet he's happy with the canvas shoes as he has been anchoring for them for a while and now he has two pairs. That'll hopefully keep him going.
