You are so active. It really does put me to shame.
Salmon sounded good
Love mock orange. It smells so good. There is something nostalgic about it somehow.

That's Wednesday more or less done. Worked in the office until just after lunch and just back to finish up at home. It was so cold in the office, the air con seemed to be on full blast, it really was uncomfortable. I hate air con with a passion! I was shocked just how warm it was when I stepped outside.
Sold another eBay item last night so took a detour on the way to work to post it. eBay have paid me for what's sold so far, one item sold on Sunday still hasn't been paid for by the buyer! I'm going to wait for the next no fees offer before I list anything else as I've made very little on these sales.
Picked a few things up in L*dl on the way home. I had a free loaf to claim from the spinning wheel thing. About time I got something decent as the past few spins have been sweet pastry items which I haven't picked up. I've now spent enough to get £2 off my next shop and a free pizza from the spinning wheel. Worth doing if you shop there anyway, I pass it 3 times a week on my way home from work, I still prefer A*di though.
Had a note through the door to say my wheelie bin wash is going up from £2.50 a month to £3. Can't complain as it's been £2.50 for the past 10 years. I might ask him if he'll do the recycling bin from time to time as well, maybe every other month.
Another windows/door payment has gone out today, only 7 more to go and that will be gone.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work, just over 18,000 steps plus a live Zumba session at 6pm so will be well over 20,000 by the end of the day. Tonight's dinner is stir fry.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I am with you on the air con. Added to that I also don't like the noise it makes, it makes my ears hurt. It is also great at spreading germs, not good in a large office.

I used to hate office air con, if one person had a cold it would spread like wildfire 😢Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning, Friday eve and payday eve.
I don't know which is worse air con or when we used to be able to open windows and I always managed to sit next to someone having a hot flush!
WFH today. Have been up since just before 5am as the cats launched an assault on me and got me up. On the plus side I've had plenty of time to read my book, start off today's Spanish lessons and do a couple of surveys.
Today's exercise plan is to take the dog on the park later this morning, a live stretch and tone class at lunchtime and live Zumba at 7pm.
Not a NSD as I ordered Mr SA the hay fever tablets from the MSE weekly email - I bought the 12 months supply pack for £8.49 which is a lot cheaper than the ones I usually get him. He's really suffering this year and is wearing a face mask and goggles whenever he goes outside (a sight that has to be seen to be believed 😆).
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veg chilli from freezer stocks with jacket potato and salad. I'm making roast veg and chickpeas for lunch and will do two portions so I can take one to work for tomorrow's lunch.
9 week's today I'll be starting my first full day in Zante 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Oh my goodness, I can just imagine the neighbours scratching their heads at MrSA in full gasmask get up 🤭

Mr RS is really struggling with his hay fever this year. He is bad most years but this year has hit him really badly.
Might suggest the mask and goggles 🤣🤣🤣2 -
I think a lot of people have had trouble with hayfever this year which I suspect is partly due to the hot weather but also to councils rewilding in recreational areas. I dont know if you have this but every park or open space in my area has areas where the grass has been left to grow long. There has been a couple of discussions on social media on the increasing number of dogs suffering as a result of grass seeds getting in eyes, ears and between paws. The size of the foxtails here has to be seen to be believed and they can cause awful problems. Personally I am just waiting for the increase in lyme disease in children from the proliferation of ticks. The joke round here is the councils rewilding website says ticks are spread by deer and as there arent any in this area there is no problem. Ignorance abounds as ticks can be spread by, I believe, any mammal and we do have a lot of foxes. Many councils have jumped on the rewilding bandwagon without having the knowledge to do it well. and dont get me started on the number of trees planted that have been left to wither and die all over the world.Sorry to take over your diary with a rant SA but I hate seeing the dogs suffernot to mention all the poor people with bad hayfever.
