This happened to us in Ibiza, a special assistance worker took Mr SA's wheelchair and used it to transport someone else to their coach then abandoned it. Fortunately, it was returned but we had to wait for a long time. Also the first time we went to Zante Mr SA was wheeled to the coach in someone else's wheelchair which then ended up on the coach to our hotel. I had to call Jet2 to pick it up and return it to its owner.ladyholly said:Be aware there have been many cases of wheelchairs disappearing or being damaged by airlines and people being stranded because of it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Happy hump day 😎
Worked in the office until lunchtime then finished up at home. Did the L*dl bread run on the way home, don't need it today but will by Friday. Mr SA gets through so much bread I should have shares in a bakery!
The young cat is a nightmare at the moment catching anything that moves in the garden. She was running down the garden with a butterfly in her mouth the other day, then yesterday she caught a frog. This morning I noticed the bird table was on its side and there were feathers everywhere, looked like a wood pigeon's feathers. I couldn't find a body so assume it escaped but judging by the amount of feathers there's a bald wood pigeon flying around somewhere! Little s*d 🙁
Exercise wise I've walked to/from work and will be doing a live Zumba class at 6pm so will be well over 20,000 steps by tonight.
Tonight's dinner is veggie sausage and sweet potato traybake. I made this last week and it was absolutely delicious plus I have tons of veggie sausages in the freezer to use up.
Got another load of washing dry so have ironing to do shortly plus the usual Spanish lessons, surveys, cleaning and will try to fit in another short gardening session.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
How on earth do you fit so much into your day? You're always on the go.
Traybake sounds delicious. Fancy giving that a go.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I think it's killing season for cats at the moment. We have a pile of feathers but no corpse at the far end of the garden. I'd be surprised if my cat was the culprit as he is both lazy and fairly inept as a hunter. If he does catch a mouse he brings it in (still alive) and then let's it fall out of his mouth and it scampers off. Dead mice are bad but still alive and running around in the house is probably worse - although a better outcome for the mouse obviously.3

How would MrSA react to not having a scooter on holiday? If he would spend all week chuntering about it and ruining your holiday then the extra money might be worth it?My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

We’ve been discussing it tonight funnily enough and for now we’re keeping the booking in place. It’s not the cost so much as the scooter we hired last year kept conking out and we were forever having to get people to push it. This is a different hire place so hopefully they’re better. The couple we used to hire from have retired so I’m hoping the new company, which were recommended by this couple, haven’t taken on their decrepit old scooters. But this is Greece remember 😆redofromstart said:How would MrSA react to not having a scooter on holiday? Morning all, happy Thursday, the bank holiday weekend is in sight!
WFH today, I love my WFH days.
It should be a NSD today. Not done very well with them this month.
Today's main cleaning task is the kitchen. There is the usual ironing and another short gardening stint.
Exercise plans: dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime Pilates class and a stretching session later.
Tonight's dinner is broccoli and peanut noodles. I haven't got soba noodles so will use wholewheat ones. I also sub the peanut butter for peanut protein powder as it's much easier to make into a sauce (and a lot fewer calories too). Oh and I haven't got any peanuts so will use some WW roasted fava beans which are very similar - I don't think I ever follow a recipe to the letter 😆
