I bought that Jamie book too! Mine was a car boot find: an unused present apparently. Looks like new. I saw the programme and thought I might find some of the recipes that DH said he'd be willing to try (this says a lot about both him and me, LOL), but of course I don't remember which they were.

our local charity shop had a mobility scooter donated last week and are listing it for a bargainous £70 - it made me wonder two things, 1: could you find a second hand travel scooter? 2) do any charities hire them out, so Mr SA could try one for a short while?

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I buy for very few people nowadays just DS, DD, DIL, Mr SA and the GKs, none of whom bake. Maybe I’ll find something in it.

I don’t know about the hiring but I’d certainly consider a second hand one. He did ask the scooter shop if they hired out travel scooters to take abroad and they said no. There are a few mobility shops that sell reconditioned ones so certainly worth a look.
