I have to write about a match later in the month for a client job, and the match doesn't start till 11pm and my deadline is 830am the next day. I am going to be very, very sleep deprived 😂

At least I like footie, could be worse! But yeah hope I don't get blacklisted for submitting a pile of absolute gibberish because I've only had a few hours kip once game is finished and then related work has to be done 😁

Love the traffic cone story - I wonder why he thought to ask that?

Apparently it was a question on The Chase involving Banksy and a traffic cone on a head 🤷♀️

That’s another week done.
We went to the retail park today which took a huge chunk out of the day. Left the house at 10am and didn’t get back until 1.30.
Stopped off at Mr T with the soft plastics recycling only the find the dumpster had gone. We were passing a C0-0p so dropped it off there.
Mr SA got his Gr£ggs coffee and sausage roll fix while I dropped off the coffee pods at Mr M.
I then went in BnM and somehow managed to spend £49.49 😱 It was a mixture of food items, cleaning stuff and general bits and bobs, nothing exciting.
After that went to BnQ and bought 3 plants, a couple were half price £1.25 each for edamame beans and chantenay carrots. I love edamame beans and it’s never crossed my mind to grow them so will be an interesting experiment.
Bumped into SIL and BIL at the retail park so stood chatting for a while. What a coincidence as they don’t live our side of town.
Was regretting deciding to try a new recipe for lunch of a baked potato with puy lentils and mango chutney as I was shattered from all the walking. Anyway it’s done now and a portion left for tomorrow’s lunch.
Made a veggie lasagne for tonight’s dinner which used up a small bag of grated cheese from freezer stocks and what was left of a bag of Quorn mince. Had that with salad leaves from the greenhouse and other salad items from fridge stocks.

It will be interesting to see how the edamame beans turn out - I'd always assumed they didn't grow in the UK which shows how little I know. 😊

I'd never thought about how/where they grow so I was surprised to see a tray of the plants reduced to £1.25 in BnQ. They had loads of reduced plants, some past their best, some in decent condition.

Morning all, another Monday another hospital visit for Mr SA. Today it's part two of the scan he had last week. We won't be there long as he doesn't have to have the radioactive tablet this week just the 10 minutes scan.
WFH today, only need to do 2 office days this week which will be Tuesday and Friday.
It won't be a pleasant walk to/from the hospital as it's raining. Too late to book a taxi though as they're all booked up for school runs at this time of the morning. You have to book them well in advance.
I heard from the shed man yesterday asking if we want any other garden work doing. I'm going to ask him to quote for widening the path and taking the height off a rhododendron as it's taking over and I'm not confident going up ladders. DS lent me his long reach tree clipper but it's not really up to the job. I must get around to messaging the painter too so I can get him booked in.
Need to do my usual Monday finance check later.
Today's exercise will be walking to/from the hospital, strength training and yoga tonight.
Tonight's dinner is tofu stir fry.
It won't be a NSD as we need milk - again!
