Since 10am we have had glorious sunshine for a couple of hours, followed by sleet, snow, a bit of sunshine, pouring rain & now glorious sunshine for a couple of hours. I haven't ventured outside but I suspect it is a very cold wind.

We've also had snow flurries amongst the chilly wind and sunshine here!
Great you got the easter bits sorted. And hurrah for the yougov cashout, takes so long to accumulate but so nice to get a whole £50 in one go.
Enjoy the pizza and prosecco 🥂

How about a big, separate, bag of Maltesers to go with DGS's egg?
I've been searching Tesco unsuccessfully for an Easter egg that DH said he wanted (he'd seen it at a Tesco Express), an own-brand with sticky toffee pudding flavour!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2 -

Afternoon all.
So far so good I’m not feeling the lost hour yet. It usually throws me out for a few days.
Took the dog on the park this morning and did a litter pick. There was a football match on so we could only use the bottom part.
I’ve been quite productive and made a vegan banana loaf, a batch of spicy dhal soup with butternut squash for work lunches, 4 pots of overnight oats for breakfasts and tonight’s dinner is in the slow cooker apart from the tofu which I’m going to air fry - yellow pea and tofu curry. Lunch was leftover pizza and salad from last night.
Next week’s meal plan will be based on freezer/cupboard/fridge contents that need using up.
Mr SA went for his siesta after lunch so I gave the kitchen and bathroom a good clean. I’ve also vacuumed and steam mopped the floors.
Money wise it has been a NSD. Have done a couple of surveys and cashed out £10.17 from TCB. New budget period starts tomorrow so will tot up what’s left from this budget period tomorrow when I do my usual Monday finance check. Payday on Tuesday.
Lovely to think I’ve only got to do tomorrow and Tuesday in the office then not there again until the following Tuesday 🙂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
In unexpected finds news, after having to hide my gin from Mr SA at the back of a low down food cupboard, I discovered an almost full bottle of gin I’d forgotten about and a part bottle of Christmas gin also forgotten about. Not for enjoying tonight though as I have to get up at 4.30am 😐 It’s so annoying that I can’t leave it out 😠

That is annoying but great victory for it to be undiscovered!

You clearly are a very efficient hider! Nice surprise, enjoy it. 😊
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
