I’m also aiming for all my gifts done before December. It’s quite a hit now (as I failed at sinking funds), but should make for a relaxed December.
I only had about 2 hours sleep on Saturday night, but slept like a log last night. I think the difference was wearing slipper socks..i find having really warm feet works better than anything else I’ve tried 😅Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I'm leaning towards wanting to leave, but unfortunately that decision is out of my hands. There's no VR, so I just have to wait and see if I'm CR, and in the meantime fight for the best outcome in the event they keep me employed.
I'm not at all confident I could get something quickly - certainly not something at the same pay level. But I will be able to take a bit of time and not necessarily have to rush immediately, and that is very appealing."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney6 -

I can't do warm feet - it's nice to start with, but then by the middle of the night I'm too hotWhat I'd really like is somewhere comfortable to go when DH is snoring and we don't have that, and our current sofas are not comfortable for sleeping on. I slept on the floor downstairs on Saturday, and that wasn't comfortable and was cold! DH doesn't always snore like that, it's usually when he's got a cold, or been drinking something different, normally a quick nudge stops him, but nothing was working this time!

DH just said that he doesn't know how I cope with not sleeping. I pointed out that I don't have a choice! I still have to get up and get the kids to school, work and do everything else. I'm probably going to try and go up early tonight and get a few hours in before he comes to bed. I've tried sticking to normal routines to try and not get my sleep habits out of whack, but it's not really working, and if I'm going to be awake half the night anyway, it will be better to have some sleep than none! I fall asleep easily enough, it's staying asleep that's the problem.
We had a productive day yesterday - we put two coats on the bathroom. I love, love, love it! Various people thought we were mad for wanting dark purple, but it looks great (and they agree). Looking at it today in the long awaited sunlight, it could probably do with another coat though, so I'll try and get that done this week, then hopefully get the plumber back to refit the towel rail before it gets really cold.
I also put some clothing through the machine with a black dye so that's refreshed some items that were looking worn."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -
