Happy Thursday! Last day for me, hurrah.
I've been walking every day this week so that's good. I had a day for food yesterday where I just couldn't stop eating. It's been a while since that happened! Hopefully a one off.
I've got an appointment with the GP to have a spot/mole on my arm checked next week. I tried phoning because I knew I wanted to be seen, but was on hold for ages, and the queue didn't seem to be moving quickly. I decided I didn't want to waste time holding, so did a consult through the app instead and got an appointment texted to me within an hour, so that worked well.
I got a little bit of hope this week that I might have a role in the future. Nothing's fixed yet, but I'll grasp any bit of light at the end of that tunnel. A project I worked on is up for a national award too, so that's niceUnfortunately I can't go as we're not allowed to spend any money, but other partners will be there.

Ah well, as long as the partners are there to take the credit…😬
Fantastic news about the ray of hope, I do hope it comes about…and quickly! Waiting is so hard with these situations.Did you enjoy the day of food? Well done on taking the right course of action to get the appointment - good to hear of something like that actually working! I'd really love to know even a basic idea of what the new structure might look like, but that's still probably a couple of months away.
I don't think I did particularly enjoy the day of food, just seemed to be endlessly hungry! It was that thing that nothing was quite hitting the spot. A better day today, but not perfect.teapot2 said:Fingers crossed for you re your job situation 🤞🏼

Thank youYes, it's hard when working with organisations that do have money!
I think my GP practice is really good, we don't seem to have half as many issues as even some of the others in the town seem to. Most of the time I'm happy for a phone consult, but I've never had a problem being seen when it's needed.

The end of the week is here at last. I've been very grumpy jwil today and putting my foot down and raising notice of a few things. Despite my grumpy intentions, I do always remain polite and try and frame things positively though. I did need to call my 'good cop' colleague to check I wasn't being unreasonable first though
I'm looking forward to a hopefully relaxing weekend with some sun!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
